基于工序加工能力的并行公差优化设计   总被引:3,自引:2,他引:3  
提出一种基于工序加工能力的并行工序公差优化设计方法。在产品的初步结构设计阶段,通过相配零件的加工工艺规划把装配功能公差表示为零件的工序公差,建立以加权制造总成本最小为目标,以并行公差链、标准化的工序公差系数、机床最大经济极限公差为约束的非线性并行公差优化设计模型,求解该模型得到最佳的工序公差。最后给出了并行公差优化设计的一个工程实例,结果表明,所提的方法具有比传统串行等精度方法更合理、工序公差数值更大的优点。  相似文献

Although extensive research has been carried out in the area of tolerancing techniques for product design, concurrent engineering is still very seldom used in this context. This paper introduces a unique tolerancing method which applies the concept of concurrent engineering. The proposed method essentially allocates the required functional assembly tolerances to the component tolerances by formulating the tolerancing problem into a mathematical model and solving the model using a linear programming approach. The component tolerances are first represented in terms of the process tolerances, assigned by process planners at an early stage of the product design. The objective function of the mathematical model, which is to maximise the residual tolerances of the processes, is then established and the constraints formulated based on the assembly requirements and process constraints. The model is subsequently solved using a linear programming approach. Finally, the proposed method is tested on a practical example.  相似文献

飞机制造中由于工序能力指数和公差等设计变量存在变差,可能导致无法满足飞机装配质量要求以及制造成本波动较大的问题。运用稳健设计方法建立了飞机装配公差的可行稳健性和敏感稳健性两类设计模型。可行稳健设计考虑了公差等设计变量对装配可行性的影响,使其变差不影响装配功能的实现;敏感稳健性设计则考虑了公差等设计变量对制造成本和装配质量的影响,在目标成本较小的前提下使得目标成本和装配质量受设计变量变差的影响最小。提出了针对飞机装配公差可行敏感稳健设计的多目标优化问题的宽容分层序列求解算法。将公差设计中制造成本、装配质量波动、制造成本波动多个设计目标按照重要性依次排序。首先求解成本最小情况下的公差一般优化解,然后在成本最小值的宽容约束下,求得具有装配质量波动最小值的公差,最后在上述两个优化目标的宽容约束下,求得成本波动最小的最优公差。应用实例和分析结果表明了方法的有效性。    相似文献

Tolerancing has great impact on the cost and quality of a product. Previous research essentially focussed on one-dimensional tolerancing where sized tolerances accumulate only in one direction. When sized and angular tolerances are considered simultaneously, tolerances accumulate, however, in two different directions in the given view plane. We utilize related tolerance zones to illustrate the accumulation processes of sized and angular tolerances. The orientational tolerances are converted into the equivalent sized or angular tolerances in terms of their engineering semantics. We establish the sequential linear optimization models to maximize the 2D sized, angular, and orientational working tolerances of a 3D machined part based on the process capabilities. At any completion stage of operations, we measure the processed sized dimensions and then substitute them into the dimensional chains to dynamically re-calculate the mean working dimensions for remaining operations. We also re-evaluate the working tolerances for remaining operations using sequential optimization models. This approach can release the working tolerances, reduce manufacturing costs, and enhance the acceptance rate of machined parts when we manufacture the complex, low-volume, and high-value-added parts. The approach is finally illustrated with a practical example.  相似文献

Tolerances naturally generate an uncertain environment for design and manufacturing. In this paper, a novel fuzzy based tolerance representation approach for modeling the variations of geometric features due to dimensional tolerances is presented. The two concepts of fuzzy theory and small degrees of freedom are combined to introduce the fuzzy-small degrees of freedom model (F-SDOF). This model is suitable for tolerance analysis of mechanical assemblies with linear and angular tolerances. Based on the fuzzy concept, a new index (called the assemblability index) is introduced which signifies the fitting quality of parts in the assembly. Graphical and numerical representations of tolerance allocation by this method are presented. The goal of tolerance allocation is to adjust the tolerances assigned at the design stage so as to meet a functional requirement at the assembly stage. The presented method is compatible with the current dimensioning and tolerancing standards. The application of the proposed methodology is illustrated through presenting an example problem.  相似文献

The quality loss function developed by Taguchi provides a monetary measure for the deviation of the product quality characteristic from the target value. Product use causes degradation on its quality characteristic, and since such a deviation can be changing over time, so can the quality loss. However, most studies on concurrent tolerancing theory do not consider the quality loss caused by the degradation. In this paper, the present worth of expected quality loss expressed as the function of the pertinent process tolerances in a concurrent tolerancing environment is derived to capture the quality loss due to product degradation over time as a continuous cash flow function under continuous compounding. A new tolerance optimization model, which is to minimize the summation of manufacturing cost and the present worth of expected quality loss, is established to realize the concurrent tolerance allocation for products with multiple quality characteristics. An example of the bevel gear assembly involving concurrent allocation of design and process tolerances is given, demonstrating that the proposed model is feasible in practice.  相似文献

In a concurrent design environment, a robust optimum method is presented to directly determine the process tolerances from multiple correlated critical tolerances in an assembly. With given distributions of multiple critical assembly dimensions, the Taguchi quadric quality loss function is first derived. The quality loss is then expressed as the function of pertinent process tolerances. A nonlinear optimal model is established to minimize the summation of manufacturing costs and product quality loss. 为解决尺寸公差与形位公差混合优化分配问题,提出了一种公差优化分配方法.根据成本-公差函数和尺寸公差与形位公差的关系,建立了以最小制造总成本为目标的非线性公差混合优化分配模型.该模型的约束包括装配尺寸链的功能要求和加工能力.求解该模型能同时得到优化的尺寸公差和形位公差.最后,分别用公差混合优化分配法和传统方法对一个实例进行公差分配,结果表明所提方法比传统方法更优越.  相似文献

Dimensioning and tolerancing are both important phases of product design. Although dimensions can usually be assigned based on design constraints and aestheticism without much difficulty, tolerancing is often a major problem to designers. Traditionally, tolerances are assigned intuitively followed by an analysis to check for any violation of the assembly requirements. Based on the analysis results, modifications are made manually by a "trial and error" method. This method relies on the experience of the designers and the results may not be optimal. This paper presents a new approach to optimum tolerancing of components in an assembly such that all interaction requirements are met. The requirements may be for unilateral tolerance for control of clearance and interference or they may be for bilateral tolerance control. A model showing the relationship between components is constructed directly from the design. Using the model, coupled with a unique algorithm, a set of linear equations is formulated based on the design constraints and assembly requirements. The linear equations are then solved to determine the optimum tolerances of the assembly.  相似文献

A computerised trace method has been developed for determining the relationships of assembly requirements with design dimensions and tolerances of the components in an assembly, and the relationships of design specifications and machining allowance requirements with manufactured dimensions and tolerances of the component in a process plan. This method traces from the proposed components or planned operations only the dimensions and tolerances that affect the given requirement, and therefore the equations for design or for manufacture can be established simultaneously and accurately. Hence it is possible to establish constraints for the optimisation of dimensions and tolerances for design or for manufacture.  相似文献

Recently, the integration of coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and computer-aided design (CAD) systems has promoted a new approach to the evaluation of workpiece geometry; namely, vectorial dimensioning and tolerancing. This new approach is promising, because it defines process-related dimensions and tolerances clearly and distinctly. Therefore, it enables proper manufacturing control and process diagnosis. However, current proposal of vectorial tolerancing has several limitations. First, the current orientation vector is inadequate for representing true three-dimensional (3D) orientation. As a result, the orientation of a free-form surface cannot be properly established. Second, there has been little discussion of vectorial tolerance evaluation. This paper proposes a new rotation vector that provides a more general mathematical basis for representing vectorial tolerances. A nonlinear, best-fit algorithm has been developed to evaluate vectorial tolerances for both analytical geometric elements and free-form surfaces. To study the uncertainty of the best-fit result caused by sampling strategy and dimensional errors, sensitivity analysis of the evaluated parameters was investigated. Simulation and experiment showed that the developed model can predict the uncertainty of the evaluated parameters accurately.  相似文献

This paper proposes a game theoretic approach for concurrent tolerance design considering the practical manufacturing process and assembly process, to achieve lower manufacturing cost and good product assemblability. The optimization objectives and constraints for concurrent tolerance design for manufacture and assembly are discussed, and the key technologies for concurrent tolerance design with game theory are investigated, including the strategy set division, payoff calculation, and Nash equilibrium evolution. An optimization algorithm is proposed to achieve concurrent tolerance design with a game theoretic approach, and the genetic algorithm is used to conclude the Nash equilibrium of the game for manufacture and assembly. 在并行公差设计理论的基础上,提出基于制造环境的面向装配的统计公差分析方法,使得在公差设计中,考虑实际加工环境的加工状况,即各种加工方法的工序能力。在此基础上,建立基于工序能力的统计公差分析模型。在假定过程平均漂移为均匀分布和正态分布两种情况下,计算出制造偏差的概率密度函数,进而推导出线性装配相应函数的概率统计特性值,为统计公差优化设计奠定了基础.  相似文献

对保证分组适配率和配合质量目标的分组装配技术及实现方法进行了研究,提出一种基于面向质量目标的统计公差技术的统计分组装配技术;对影响配合质量指标和分组适配率的因素进行了分析,提出具有可操作性的保证配合质量目标和分组适配率的统计公差数学建模和设计方法。结合案例研究,给出这一新技术的三种典型应用,包括根据配合零件批的统计参数对分组装配后的配合质量进行预测,基于并行设计思路的分组装配统计公差设计和基于配合质量指标和先加工批统计参数的配合尺寸统计公差协调设计及控制。

质量损失是由于产品的功能波动所造成的,损失大小可由质量函数确定。在无量纲“标准化”多元质量损失函数的基础上,采用信噪比衡量各质量指标的波动,建立一般情形下的基于信噪比的多元质量损失模型,并把它表示成多个相关装配尺寸产品的工序公差函数。利用成本-公差函数和产品质量损失函数,给出基于产品最低制造成本和多个相关装配尺寸产品质量损失的并行公差设计优化模型,实现公差的并行设计,最后通过工程实例验证所提出的方法。  相似文献

通过研究生物生长与产品设计之间的相似性,提出了基于广义装配原理的生长型设计过程,研究了广义装配原理的三个理论构成。首先,在产品生长阶段,为实现生长过程中的自然选择,提出了以复杂度理论为控制因素的设计推理策略;其次,提出了功能公差设计理论,通过加工成本以及基于多因素的模糊质量损失成本体现广义装配成本,在确保产品功能的同时,以较低的装配与制造成本为公差的分配策略;在产品进化阶段,为保证产品良好的装配性能,采用了虚实结合设计技术。将以装配质量因素为核心的产品复杂度、精度以及制造、装配成本等众多设计因素并行集成于生长型设计过程中,实现了以全生命周期装配质量保障为核心的产品生长型设计。  相似文献
