分析了传统桌面级FDM型3D打印机与螺杆挤出式3D打印机的挤出原理,为提升桌面级FDM型3D打印机对打印材料的兼容性并降低打印材料的制作成本,设计了螺杆挤出式3D打印机新结构,具有螺杆与机筒便捷拆换功能。结合设计计算获得了适用于打印丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(ABS)材料的螺杆计量段结构,在螺杆低转速与小型化的要求下,可实现小流率高精度打印并可通过提高转速获得更高的流率。通过仿真实验的方法,分析了计量段熔体的速度场、压力场以及剪切速率场的特征。使用最小二乘法,得出了螺杆转速与出口流率对应的回归方程,验证了计算结果的合理性。结果表明,螺杆挤出机构能够适用于3D打印,可降低打印成本并拓宽可打印物料的选择范围,并可通过对螺杆转速的控制实现对物料挤出流率较为精确的调节。 相似文献

A die‐rotating system was proposed in this work for moderations of extrusion forces and entrance pressure drop for molten polypropylene (PP) and wood/polypropylene (WPP) composites in a capillary rheometer and a single screw extruder. The effects of processing conditions and wood loading in PP were of our interests. The extrusion force and entrance pressure drop with and without the die rotating system were monitored in real‐time. This was the first time that the die‐rotating system was used for processing of highly viscous wood/polymer composite materials. It was found that the flow properties of the molten PP and WPP composites obeyed pseudoplastic non‐Newtonian behavior. The behavior was more obvious at wood contents of above 6 wt % and in the capillary rheometer. The rotation of the die could moderate the extrusion load by 60% and entrance pressure drop by 20% in the capillary rheometer, and the entrance pressure drop by 30% in the single screw extruder, especially at the conditions where the viscosities of the WPP and the extrusion rate were high. 利用试验设计方法研究了HIPS低发泡过程中,挤出温度及螺杆转速对发泡制品的表现密度,泡孔尺寸,泡孔尺寸均匀度以及制品强度的影响,实验结果表明:随着扩是出温度的提高,制品的表观密度会有所升高;螺杆转速与挤出温度对表观密度的影响存在交互作用,在较高的温度下,螺杆转速对表观密度没有显著的景,是在较低的温度下,随着螺杆转速的提高,表观密度会有所增大,另外,螺杆转速对泡孔尺寸以及泡孔尺寸分布均匀度有较显著的影响,随着螺杆转速的扣高,泡孔尺寸大小降低,并且泡孔尺寸均匀度提高,因而制品的强度较大,温度的提高对泡孔的尺寸影响不大,但使泡孔尺寸均匀度下降,在所研究的工艺条件范围内,选择较低的挤出温度及较高的螺杆转速有利于得到性能较好的低发泡制品。 相似文献

Studies on the theory of single screw plasticating extrusion. Part II: Non-plug flow solid conveying
A non-plug solid conveying theory for plasticating extrusion is proposed in this paper. The polymer granules are treated as-bulk pellets which move down the screw channel at different speeds, rather than as a plug which never experiences deformation during extrusion. The pellets system is considered as a linear elastic system, and can only resist compressive forces but riot tensile forces. Based on elastic mechanics and virtual work principles, a mathematical model for non-plug solid conveying is proposed. Finite element method (FEM) is used to determine the relationships between internal stress and velocity profiles of the pellets in the screw channel, the internal stress states at any point in the screw channel, etc. The prediction also proved the existence of the optimum depth of the screw channel and the optimum helix angle of the screw. Most of the experiments have been carried out on an extruder with glass windows it its barrel. The experiments confirm the validity of the theory. 相似文献

The effectiveness of the extrusion process depends on a number of factors, the most important being barrel design, e.g., longitudinal or helical grooves; screw, feed opening, and polymer hopper designs are significant in this respect, too. The effect of these factors on the extrusion process has been thoroughly discussed in the available literature. This notwithstanding, there is little information providing insight on the effect of a feed pocket made below the feed opening, on the side of the barrel toward which the screw rotates, on the main characteristics of the extrusion process. For the experiments, five special profile inserts with different feed pocket depths were made and then mounted in the extruder barrel equipped with a 25‐mm diameter screw. The extrusion of plasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) at the screw speed ranging from 30 to 150 rpm was investigated. Presented graphically as charts, the obtained results show the dependences of extrudate temperature, extruder screw torque, polymer output, power supplied to the extruder and conveyed by the polymer, unit energy consumption and energy efficiency on the feed pocket depth, and screw speed. It has been found that the feed pocket made in the extruder barrel has little effect on the course and effectiveness of plasticized PVC extrusion and does not worsen the studied properties of the received extrudate; yet, it should be taken into account to ensure the highest polymer output and lowest energy consumption.
