In order to explain higher bending and tensile strength and extensibility of concrete reinforced by a GRP surface coating detailed measurements were made of surface strains of these composite beams and analogous comparative beams without surface coating by means of thin birefringent photoelastic surface foils. With regard to very small deformations of concrete in tension the sensibility of foils had to be high. The production and application of large size foils were connected with a number of technical problems which were solved successfully. The results of tests performed made it possible to describe the process of development of structural cracks in concrete and to explain the mechanism of cooperation of concrete with the more ductile GRP coating.  相似文献

Patients with advanced colorectal cancer (CRC) with distant metastases have a poor prognosis. We evaluated the clinicopathological relevance of GRP94 expression in these cases. The immunohistochemical expression of GRP94 was studied in 189 CRC patients with synchronous (SM; n = 123) and metachronous metastases (MM; n = 66), using tissue microarray; the association between GRP94 expression, outcome, and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) was also evaluated. GRP94 was expressed in 64.6% (122/189) patients with CRC; GRP94 positivity was found in 67.5% and 59.1% patients with SM and MM, respectively. In the SM group, high GRP94 expression was more common in patients with a higher density of CD4+ TILs (p = 0.002), unlike in the MM group. Survival analysis showed that patients with GRP94 positivity had significantly favorable survival (p = 0.030); after multivariate analysis, GRP94 only served as an independent prognostic factor (p = 0.034; hazard ratio, 0.581; 95% confidence interval, 0.351–0.961) in the SM group. GRP94 expression was detected in 49.4% of metastatic sites and showed significant heterogeneity between primary and metastatic lesions (p = 0.012). GRP94 is widely expressed in CRC with distant metastases; its expression was associated with favorable prognosis in the SM group, unlike in the MM group.  相似文献

Lead zirconate titanate—Pb(Zr0.45Ti0.55)O3 thin films are grown on Pt1 1 1/Ti/SiO2/Si1 0 0 substrates by a sol–gel method with 1 0 0/0 0 1 and 1 1 1 preferred orientations. Film orientation was controlled mainly by the annealing process and temperature. Films with 1 0 0/0 0 1 orientation consist of a uniform microstructure with micron size grains, whereas films with 1 1 1 orientation contain sub-micron grains. The electrical properties were influenced markedly by the microstructure and orientation of the films. The 1 1 1 oriented films exhibit a square-like hysteresis loop with remnant polarization (Pr) reaching 46 μC/cm2 under 550 kV/cm, whereas 1 0 0/0 0 1 oriented films have a Pr of 20 μC/cm2 with more slim hysteresis curves. Aging of the precursor solutions resulted in films growing with 1 0 0/0 0 1 texture and displaying inferior electrical properties.  相似文献

为开发一种结构性能稳定、耐久性和轻量化的光伏支架,以某试点建设工程为背景,制备出树脂基复合材料光伏支架。从光伏支架承受的风荷载﹑雪荷载﹑自重荷载及地震荷载入手,通过计算,对支架结构设计中的关键构件﹑节点进行强度校核。同时,通过支架系统风洞力学性能测试及支架用复合材料4000 h多因子老化特性研究,验证了复合材料光伏支架实际应用的可行性。  相似文献

Recent evidence has suggested that synovial inflammation and macrophage polarization were involved in the pathogenesis of osteoarthritis (OA). Additionally, high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid (HMW-HA) was often used clinically to treat OA. GRP78, an endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress chaperone, was suggested to contribute to the hyperplasia of synovial cells in OA. However, it was still unclear whether HMW-HA affected macrophage polarization through GRP78. Therefore, we aimed to identify the effect of HMW-HA in primary synovial cells and macrophage polarization and to investigate the role of GRP78 signaling. We used IL-1β to treat primary synoviocytes to mimic OA, and then treated them with HMW-HA. We also collected conditioned medium (CM) to culture THP-1 macrophages and examine the changes in the phenotype. IL-1β increased the expression of GRP78, NF-κB (p65 phosphorylation), IL-6, and PGE2 in primary synoviocytes, accompanied by an increased macrophage M1/M2 polarization. GRP78 knockdown significantly reversed the expression of IL-1β-induced GRP78-related downstream molecules and macrophage polarization. HMW-HA with GRP78 knockdown had additive effects in an IL-1β culture. Finally, the synovial fluid from OA patients revealed significantly decreased IL-6 and PGE2 levels after the HMW-HA treatment. Our study elucidated a new form of signal transduction for HMW-HA-mediated protection against synovial inflammation and macrophage polarization and highlighted the involvement of the GRP78-NF-κB signaling pathway.  相似文献

Cholesteatoma is a destructive and expanding growth of keratinizing squamous epithelium in the middle ear or petrous apex. The molecular and cellular processes of the pathogenesis of acquired middle ear cholesteatoma have not been fully understood. In this study, comparative proteomic analysis was conducted to investigate the roles of specific proteins in the pathways regarding keratinocyte proliferation in cholesteatoma. The differential proteins were detected by comparing the two-dimension electrophoresis (2-DE) maps of the epithelial tissues of 12 attic cholesteatomas with those of retroauricular skins. There were 14 upregulated proteins in the epithelial tissues of cholesteatoma in comparison with retroauricular skin. The modulation of five crucial proteins, HSP27, PRDX2, GRP75, GRP78 and GRP94, was further determined by RT-PCR, Western blot and immunohistochemistry. Phosphorylation of HSP27 at Ser-82 was identified by mass spectroscopy. The results of this study suggested that phosphorylated HSP27 is the end expression of two potential signal-transduction pathways, and together with PRDX2, they are very likely involved in the proliferation of keratinocytes in cholesteatoma. Upregulations of GRP75, GRP78 and GRP94 in keratinocytes may be able to counter endoplasmic reticulum stress, to inhibit cell apoptosis, to prevent protein unfolding and to promote cholesteatoma growth.  相似文献
