This paper investigates the problem of state‐feedback stabilization for a class of lower‐triangular stochastic time‐delay nonlinear systems without controllable linearization. By extending the adding‐a‐power‐integrator technique to the stochastic time‐delay systems, a state‐feedback controller is explicitly constructed such that the origin of closed‐loop system is globally asymptotically stable in probability. The main design difficulty is to deal with the uncontrollable linearization and the nonsmooth system perturbation, which, under some appropriate assumptions, can be solved by using the adding‐a‐power‐integrator technique. Two simulation examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the control algorithm proposed in this paper.Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The optimal control problem for a class of singularly perturbed time‐delay composite systems affected by external disturbances is investigated. The system is decomposed into a fast linear subsystem and a slow time‐delay subsystem with disturbances. For the slow subsystem, the feedforward compensation technique is proposed to reject the disturbances, and the successive approximation approach (SAA) is applied to decompose it into decoupled subsystems and solve the two‐point boundary value (TPBV) problem. By combining with the optimal control law of the fast subsystem, the feedforward and feedback composite control (FFCC) law of the original composite system is obtained. The FFCC law consists of analytic state feedback and feedforward terms and a compensation term which is the limit of the adjoint vector sequence. The compensation term can be obtained from an iteration formula of adjoint vectors. Simulation results are employed to test the validity of the proposed design algorithm. This paper presents new exponential stability and delayed‐state‐feedback stabilization criteria for a class of nonlinear uncertain stochastic time‐delay systems. By choosing the delay fraction number as two, applying the Jensen inequality to every sub‐interval of the time delay interval and avoiding using any free weighting matrix, the method proposed can reduce the computational complexity and conservativeness of results. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, exponential stability and delayed‐state‐feedback stabilization conditions of nonlinear uncertain stochastic systems with the state delay are obtained. In the sequence, the delayed‐state‐feedback stabilization problem for a nonlinear uncertain stochastic time‐delay system is investigated and some sufficient conditions are given in the form of nonlinear inequalities. In order to solve the nonlinear problem, a cone complementarity linearization algorithm is offered. Mathematical and/or numerical comparisons between the proposed method and existing ones are demonstrated, which show the effectiveness and less conservativeness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper investigates the finite‐time stabilization problem for a class of nonlinear systems with time‐varying delay. Under suitable assumptions, a new state feedback control law is designed by using the adding a power integrator technique. By constructing an appropriate Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional, it is shown that the corresponding closed‐loop system is finite‐time stable. Two simulation examples are given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

This paper describes a delay‐range‐dependent local state feedback controller synthesis approach providing estimation of the region of stability for nonlinear time‐delay systems under input saturation. By employing a Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, properties of nonlinear functions, local sector condition and Jensen's inequality, a sufficient condition is derived for stabilization of nonlinear systems with interval delays varying within a range. Novel solutions to the delay‐range‐dependent and delay‐dependent stabilization problems for linear and nonlinear time‐delay systems, respectively, subject to input saturation are derived as specific scenarios of the proposed control strategy. Also, a delay‐rate‐independent condition for control of nonlinear systems in the presence of input saturation with unknown delay‐derivative bound information is established. And further, a robust state feedback controller synthesis scheme ensuring L2 gain reduction from disturbance to output is devised to address the problem of the stabilization of input‐constrained nonlinear time‐delay systems with varying interval lags. The proposed design conditions can be solved using linear matrix inequality tools in connection with conventional cone complementary linearization algorithms. Simulation results for an unstable nonlinear time‐delay network and a large‐scale chemical reactor under input saturation and varying interval time‐delays are analyzed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology. In this paper, robust stochastic stabilization and H control for a class of uncertain discrete‐time linear systems with Markovian jumping parameters are considered. Based on a new bounded real lemma derived upon an inequality recently proposed, a new iterative state‐feedback controller design procedure for discrete time‐delay systems is presented. Sufficient conditions for stochastic stabilization are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) based on an equivalent model transformation, and the corresponding H control law is given. Finally, numerical examples are given to illustrate the solvability of the problems and effectiveness of the results.  相似文献

In this paper, the stabilization of stochastic coupled systems (SCSs) with time delay via feedback control based on discrete‐time state observations is investigated. We use the discrete‐time state feedback control to stabilize stochastic coupled systems with time delay. Moreover, by employing Lyapunov method and graph theory, the upper bound of the duration between two consecutive state observations is obtained and some criteria are established to guarantee the stabilization in sense of ‐stability and mean‐square asymptotic stability of SCSs with time delay via feedback control based on discrete‐time state observations. In addition, to verify the theoretical results, stochastic coupled oscillators with time delay are performed. At last, a numerical example is given to illustrate the applicability and effectiveness of our analytical results.  相似文献

Optimal tracking control (OTC) for discrete time‐delay systems affected by persistent disturbances with quadratic performance indexes is considered. Optimal tracking controller is designed based on a sensitivity approximation approach. By introducing a sensitivity parameter, we transform the original OTC problem into a series of difference equations without time‐advance on time‐delay terms. The obtained OTC law consists of analytic feedback and feedforward terms, and a compensation term, which is the sum of the infinite series of adjoint vectors. The compensation term can be obtained with an iterated formula for the adjoint vectors. A simulation example shows that the approximation approach is effective in tracking the reference input and robust with respect to exogenous persistent disturbances.  相似文献

This work proposes a new adaptive terminal iterative learning control approach based on the extended concept of high‐order internal model, or E‐HOIM‐ATILC, for a nonlinear non‐affine discrete‐time system. The objective is to make the system state or output at the endpoint of each operation track a desired target value. The target value varies from one iteration to another. Before proceeding to the data‐driven design of the proposed approach, an iterative dynamical linearization is performed for the unknown nonlinear systems by using the gradient of the nonlinear system with regard to the control input as the iteration‐and‐time‐varying parameter vector of the equivalent linear I/O data model. By virtue of the basic idea of the internal model, the inverse of the parameter vector is approximated by a high‐order internal model. The proposed E‐HOIM‐ATILC does not use measurements of any intermediate points except for the control input and terminal output at the endpoint. Moreover, it is data‐driven and needs merely the terminal I/O measurements. By incorporating additional control knowledge from the known portion of the high order internal model into the learning control law, the control performance of the proposed E‐HOIM‐ATILC is improved. The convergence is shown by rigorous mathematical proof. Simulations through both a batch reactor and a coupled tank system demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, the H input/output (I/O) linearization formulation is applied to design an inner‐loop nonlinear controller for a nonlinear ship course‐keeping control problem. Due to the ship motion dynamics are non‐minimum phase, it is impossible to use the ordinary feedback I/O linearization to resolve. Hence, the technique of H I/O linearization is proposed to obtain a nonlinear H controller such that the compensated nonlinear system approximates the linear reference model in I/O behaviour. Then a μ‐synthesis method is employed to design an outer‐loop robust controller to address tracking, regulation, and robustness issues. The time responses of the tracking signals for the closed‐loop system reveal that the overall robust nonlinear controller is able to provide robust stability and robust performance for the plant uncertainties and state measurement errors. This paper deals with the exact feedback linearization of nonlinear plants using estimated states. Under appropriate hypotheses, exact linearization can be achieved through transformation of states and feedback. We assume that the states cannot be measured so that a nonlinear observer, with exponential convergence, is included in the loop. We establish sufficient conditions to guarantee that the overall system trajectories asymptotically converge to those obtained with feedback linearization utilizing the true states. We apply our results to control an electrical drive using a permanent-magnet synchronous motor without mechanical and optical sensors. The behaviour of our control scheme is illustrated by simulations.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the cooperative robust output regulation problem for discrete‐time linear multi‐agent systems with both communication and input delays by a distributed internal model approach. We first introduce the distributed internal model for discrete‐time multi‐agent systems with both communication and input delays. Then, we define the so‐called auxiliary system and auxiliary augmented system. Finally, we solve our problem by showing, under some standard assumptions, that if a distributed state feedback control or a distributed output feedback control solves the robust output regulation problem of the auxiliary system, then the same control law solves the cooperative robust output regulation problem of the original multi‐agent systems.  相似文献

We consider general discrete‐time nonlinear systems (of arbitrary nonlinear growth) with time‐varying input delays and design an explicit predictor feedback controller to compensate the input delay. Such results have been achieved in continuous time, but only under the restriction that the delay rate is bounded by unity, which ensures that the input signal flow does not get reversed, namely, that old inputs are not felt multiple times by the plant (because on such subsequent occasions, the control input acts as a disturbance). For discrete‐time systems, an analogous restriction would be that the input delay is non‐increasing. In this work, we do not impose such a restriction. We provide a design and a global stability analysis that allow the input delay to be arbitrary (containing intervals of increase, decrease, or stagnation) over an arbitrarily long finite period of time. Unlike in the continuous‐time case, the predictor feedback law in the discrete‐time case is explicit. We specialize the result to linear time‐invariant systems and provide an explicit estimate of the exponential decay rate. Carefully constructed examples are provided to illustrate the design and analytical challenges. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the transient performance improvement in tracking control problems for linear multivariable discrete‐time singular systems subject to actuators saturation. A composite nonlinear feedback control strategy is considered, and the resulting controller consists of a linear feedback law and a nonlinear feedback law without any switching element. The nonlinear term leads to a varying damping ratio of the closed‐loop system and yields a small overshoot as the output approaches the target reference, whereas the linear component is designed to achieve a quick response of the closed‐loop system. Two composite nonlinear feedback control laws by both state feedback and measurement output feedback are addressed. An illustrative example is included to show the validity of the obtained results. Robust finite‐time stability and stabilization problems for a class of linear uncertain time‐delay systems are studied. The concept of finite‐time stability is extended to linear uncertain time‐delay systems. Based on the Lyapunov method and properties of matrix inequalities, a sufficient condition that ensures finite‐time stability of linear uncertain time‐delay systems is given. By virtue of the results on finite‐time stability, a memoryless state feedback controller that guarantees that the closed‐loop system is finite time stable, is proposed. The controller design problem is solved by using the linear matrix inequalities and the cone complementarity linearization iterative algorithm. Numerical examples verify the efficiency of the proposed methods.  相似文献

This paper studies the problems of stabilization of discrete‐time linear systems with a single input delay. By developing the methodology of pseudo‐predictor feedback, which uses the (artificial) closed‐loop system dynamics to predict the future state, memoryless state feedback control laws are constructed to solve the problem. Necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained to guarantee the stability of the closed‐loop system in terms of the stability of a class‐difference equations. It is also shown that the proposed controller achieves semi‐global stabilization of the system if its actuator is subject to either magnitude saturation or energy constraints under the condition that the open‐loop system is only polynomially unstable. Numerical examples have been worked out to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approaches. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This article investigates the problem of using sampled‐data state/output feedback to semiglobally stabilize a class of uncertain nonlinear systems whose linearization around the origin is neither controllable nor observable. For any arbitrarily large bound of initial states, by employing homogeneous domination approach and a homogeneous version of Gronwall‐Bellman inequality, a sampled‐data state feedback controller with appropriate sampling period and scaling gain is constructed to semiglobally stabilize the system. In the case when not all states are available, a reduced‐order sampled‐data observer is constructed to provide estimates for the control law, which can guarantee semiglobal stability of the closed‐loop system with carefully selected sampling period and scaling gain.  相似文献

This paper considers semi‐global output feedback control for more general nonlinear systems with unknown time‐delay and output function whose derivative is unbounded from above. By introducing a new observer and using the backstepping design method and the Razumikhin stability theorem, an output feedback controller is constructed to achieve a semi‐global stability. It is well known that a delay‐dependent or delay‐independent truncated predictor feedback law stabilizes a general linear system in the presence of a certain amount of input delay. Results also exist on estimating the maximum delay bound that guarantees stability. In the face of a time‐varying or unknown delay, delay‐independent feedback laws are preferable over delay‐dependent feedback laws as the former provide robustness to the uncertainties in the delay. In the light of few results on the construction of delay‐independent output feedback laws for general linear systems with input delay, we present in this paper a delay‐independent observer–based output feedback law that stabilizes the system. Our design is based on the truncated predictor feedback design. We establish an estimate of the maximum allowable delay bound through the Razumikhin‐type stability analysis. An implication of the delay bound result reveals the capability of the proposed output feedback law in handling an arbitrarily large input delay in linear systems with all open‐loop poles at the origin or in the open left‐half plane. Compared with that of the delay‐dependent output feedback laws in the literature, this same level of stabilization result is not sacrificed by the absence of the prior knowledge of the delay.  相似文献
