New cluster compounds — rhenium and potassium thiohalides K3Re6S7Br7 (I) and K4Re6S8Cl6 (II) — have been synthesized. Their crystal structures have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The compounds are monoclinic; (I): space group P21/c, a = 9.32(1) Å, b = 13.528 Å, c = 12.413 Å, β = 110.21°, Z = 2, R = 0.038; (II): space group C2/m, a = 10.614 Å, b = 17.268 Å, c = 10.448 Å, β = 110.755°, Z = 2, R = 0.042. In both structures, the potassium ions are considerably distorted. The occupancies of the potassium sites are 0.17-0.34 (I) and 0. 01-0.26 (II), correlating well with the coordination numbers (c.n. 7-10 and 2-7 for I and II, respectively). In I, adjacent positions of potassium atoms are aggregated into discrete tetrahedral and angular clusters; in II, the individual (four-and six-membered) cyclic clusters of potassium sites are present along with bent chains of vertex-and edge-sharing tetrahedral “potassium clusters.” The shortest K-K distances in these “clusters” vary from 1.31 Å to 1.54 Å (I) and from 0.66 Å to 1.65 Å (II). The “instability” of the potassium site suggests that I and II are ion conductors.Original Russian Text Copyright © 2004 by S. F. Solodovnikov, S. S. Yarovoi, Yu. V. Mironov, A. V. Virovets, and V. Crystals with uncommon composition NaBa6[Co(Edta)]4(ClO4)9 · 30H2O (Edta4− is ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid anion) were obtained with the following unit cell parameters: a = 14.8513(9) Å, b = 26.2361(15) Å, c = 15.1789(9) Å, α = 91.661(7)°, β = 113.035(7)°, γ = 89.897(7)°, space group P1¯. Each complex anion [Co(Edta)] is bonded through the carboxyl O atoms to five Ba atoms to give three-dimensional framework in a crystal. One perchlorate ion forms Ba-O-Cl-O-Ba bridge between the Ba atoms; four ClO 4 ions are isolated, while the remaining four ions act as monodentate ligands at the Ba atoms. The water molecules (25 in sum) complete the coordination sphere of the Ba atoms to eight-, nine-, or ten-vertex polyhedron. Four water molecules are in the closest surrounding of the Na atom, one H2O molecule is isolated.__________Translated from Koordinatsionnaya Khimiya, Vol. 31, No. 8, 2005, pp. 590–595.Original Russian Text Copyright © 2005 by Zabel, Poznyak, Pawlowski.  相似文献

Single crystals were grown and X-ray diffraction data (CAD-4 diffractometer, MoK α radiation, 1477 F hkl , R = 0.0320) were used to determine the structure of I. The crystals are orthorhombic: a = 10.675(1) Å; b = 21.681(2) Å; c = 26.302(4) Å, V = 6087.5(12) Å3, Z = 8, ρ(calc) = 1.247 g/cm3, space group Pbca. Complex I possesses a mononuclear molecular structure. The coordination polyhedron of the Ni atom is a tetragonal pyramid NS4 whose base is formed by four S atoms of two cyclic bidentate ligands i-Bu2PS 2 and the axial position is occupied by the N atom of the 4-NH2Py cycle. According to electron spectroscopy data, complex II has an octahedral N2S4 environment of the Ni atom.Original Russian Text Copyright © 2004 by T. E. Kokina, L. A. Glinskaya, E. A. Novoselova, R. F. The synthesis of a heteroligand complex of CuCl with triphenylphosphine and 5-pyridine-4-yl-5,6-dihydro-[1,3]dithiolo[4,5-b][1,4]dithiine-2-thione (L) of composition { [CuCl(PPh3)(L)](CH3 CN)}2 (I) is described. The crystals of complex I are triclinic: space group , a = 8.928(2) Å, b = 13.872(3) Å, c = 14.470(3) Å, α = 72.89(3)°, β = 88.41(3)°, γ = 77.02(3)°, and Z = 2. The Cu(1) atom has a quasi-tetrahedral environment including the phosphorus atom of the triphenylphosphine molecule, nitrogen atom of the pyridyl radical of molecule L, and two bridging chloride ions. The fact that noncoordinated sulfur atoms are present can be used for the further interaction of complex I with soft Lewis acids.__________Translated from Koordinatsionnaya Khimiya, Vol. 31, No. 6, 2005, pp. 462–465.Original Russian Text Copyright © 2005 by Koshevaya, Starodub.  相似文献

Paramagnetic copper(II) complexes with N-(3-hydroximino-2-methylbutan-2-yl)methylamine (HL), namely, Cu(HL)Cl2(I), Cu(HL)(SO4) · 2H2O (II), and Cu(HL)(NO3)2(III), were obtained. The crystal structures of I and II were determined. The blue crystals of these compounds are monoclinic. For I(C6H14Cl2CuN2O): a = 8.820(1) Å, b = 6.511(1) Å, c = 18.255(2) Å, = 92.86(1)° V = 1047.0(2) Å3, space group P21/c, calcd = 1.679 g/cm3, Z = 4 for R 1 = 0.0250; for II(C6H18CuN2O7S): a = 9.999(2) Å, b = 9.927(2) Å, c = 12.963(3) Å, = 106.37(3)°, V = 1234.5(4) Å3, space group P21/c, calcd = 1.753 g/cm3, Z = 4 for R 1 = 0.0324. Crystals of I have a molecular structure. The Cu coordination polyhedron is a square bipyramid (2N + 2Cl + Cl + Cl) due to additional contacts with two Cl atoms from the neighboring molecules. Structure II is built from polymeric chains. The environment of the Cu atom is a distorted cis-octahedron (2N + 2O(H2O) + 2O(SO4)). Complexes IIIIare characterized by IR and EPR spectroscopy.  相似文献

The reactions of 2-(2-pyridyl)benzothiazole (1) with MX2·nH2O salts (M = NiII, CoII, or CuII; X = Cl or ClO4; n = 0–2) in EtOH afforded the corresponding complexes. Depending on the nature of the counterion in the starting metal salt, the reactions give compounds of composition M(1)Cl2·nH2O or Cu(1)2(ClO4)2·H2O. The molecular and crystal structure of the CuII(1)2(ClO4)2·H2O complex was established by X-ray diffraction. The copper atom in this complex has a distorted tetragonal-pyramidal ligand environment and is coordinated by four nitrogen atoms of two ligand molecules and one water molecule. Electrochemical study of the ligand and the resulting complexes by cyclic voltammetry and at a rotating disk electrode demonstrated that ligand 1 stabilizes reduced forms of complexes containing Ni, Co, or Cu atoms in the oxidation state +1. Two 2-terephthalate (tp) bridged complexes, [Cu2(tp)(pren)4](ClO4)2 (pren = 1,3-diaminopropane) (1) and [Ni2(tp)(pren)4(Him)2](ClO4)2 (Him = imidazole) (2), have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray single-crystal structural analysis. In the discrete dinuclear [Cu2(tp)(pren)4]2+ cation of complex (1), each CuII atom has a square-pyramidal geometry, being coordinated by four nitrogen atoms (avg. 2.031 Å) from two pren ligands at the basal plane and one oxygen atom [2.259(3) Å] from a bis-monodentate tp group at the axial position. In the discrete dinuclear [Ni2(tp)(pren)4(Him)2]2+ cation of complex (2), each NiII center is coordinated by five nitrogen atoms [Ni—N 2.069(3)–2.109(2) Å] from one Him group and two pren groups, and completed by one oxygen atom [Ni—O 2.138(3) Å] from a bis-monodentate tp group to furnish a distorted octahedron. Magnetic susceptibility studies show that the pair of metal atoms, although being separated by >11.5 Å, exhibit weak intramolecular antiferromagnetic interactions in complexes (1) (g = 2.07 and J = –3.4 cm–1) and (2) (g = 2.10 and J = –0.7 cm–1). The electrochemical behaviors of the complexes have also been studied by cyclic voltammogram processes.  相似文献

The syntheses of the complex copper salt CuL2 · 2H2O (I) and the erbium nitrate complex Er(NO3)3 · 2HL · 2H2O (II) (HL is 2-[2′-(oxymethyldiphenylphosphinyl)phenyldiazenyl]-4-tert-butylphenol) have been described. Basic vibrational frequencies in the IR spectra of I and II have been interpreted. The crystal structure of I has been determined by X-ray crystallography: the crystals are monoclinic, a = 15.157(3) ?, b = 17.080(2) ?, c = 22.451(9) ?, β = 106.09(3)°, V = 5584(3) ?3, Z = 4, space group C2/c, R = 0.0546 (for 1152 reflections with I > 2σ(I)). The coordination polyhedron of the copper atom (symmetry C 2) can be described as a symmetrically elongated square bipyramid (4+2). The basic square of the Cu polyhedron is formed by the oxygen atom of the substituted phenol and one of the nitrogen atoms of the azo group of each of the two deprotonated ligands L (Cu-N, 1.969(6) ?; Cu-O, 1.899(5) ?). The angles between the opposite O and N atoms are 157.6°, and the other equatorial angles are in the range 90.6°–95.9°. The axial positions are occupied by the anisole O(2) and O(2A) atoms (Cu-O, 2.737(6) ?, the O(2)Cu(1)O(2A) angle, 132.3°). In the crystal of I, complex molecules and water molecules of crystallization are combined by a system of hydrogen bonds. IR spectra show that, in complex II, as distinct from compound I, the HL ligand is coordinated to the erbium atom through the phosphoryl oxygen atom. Original Russian Text ? A.Yu. Tsivadze, L.Kh. The complexes [Ph3BuP]2+[Bi2I8 · 2Me2C=O]2− (II) and [Ph3BuP]2+[Bi2I8 · 2Me2S=O]2− (III) are synthesized by the reactions of triphenyl(n-butyl)phosphonium iodide (I) with bismuth iodide in acetone and dimethyl sulfoxide. In the cations of complexes I–III, the P atoms have a distorted tetrahedral coordination (CPC angles 106.3(2)°–112.0(3)°). The butyl group in cation I is disordered over two positions. In the binuclear centrosymmetric anions of structures II and III, the octahedrally coordinated bismuth atoms are linked in pairs by two bridging (br) iodine atoms (Bi-Ibr 3.1508(7) and 3.2824(8) ? in compound II, 3.1961(3) and 3.3108(3) ? in complex III), which are coplanar to four terminal (t) iodine atoms (Bi-It 2.9260(7) and 2.9953(6) ? in complex II, 2.9206(3) and 2.9786(3) ? in complex III). The structure of compound I: poly-diaqua(μ-imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylato-N,O; -O′; -O′′, -O′′′) calcium(II) monohydrate [Ca(C5H2N2O4)(H2O)2·H2O] is built of molecular sheets in which imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylate ligands bridge the metal ions using both carboxylate groups, each bidentate. Ca(II) is coordinated by six oxygen atoms and one hetero-ring nitrogen atom distributed at the apices of a capped tetragonal bipyramid. The basal plane of the pyramid is formed by two carboxylate oxygen atoms [d(Ca–O2?=?2.374(1)?Å, d(Ca–O4)?=?2.412(1)?Å] and two water oxygen atoms [d(Ca–O5)?=?2.384(1)?Å, d(Ca–O6)?=?2.455(1)?Å], the capped position is occupied by the carboxylate oxygen atom O3 [d(Ca–O3)?=?2.325(1)?Å], the hetero-ring nitrogen atom [d(Ca–N2)?=?2.523(1)?Å] and the carboxylate oxygen atom O4 [d(Ca–O2)?= 2.412(1)?Å] form the apices of the prism. The solvation water molecule plays a significant role in a framework of hydrogen bonds responsible for the stability of the crystal. The structure of compound II: trans-tetraquadi(H-imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylato-N,O) calcium(II) monohydrate, [Ca(C5H3N2O4)2(H2O)4·H2O] consists of monomers in which the Ca(II) ion is located on a centre of symmetry. The coordination around the Ca(II) is a strongly deformed pentagonal bipyramidal with the imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylate (4,5-IDA) ligands in the trans arrangement forming a dihedral angle of 68.3°. An imidazole-ring nitrogen atom [d(Ca–N)?=?2.632(2)?Å] and one carboxylate O atom [d(Ca–O)?=?2.531(2)?Å] from each ligand coordinate to the metal ion. The coordination is completed by four water oxygen atoms [d(Ca–O)?=?2.393(2)?Å] and [d(Ca–O)?=?2.367(2)?Å]. The coordinated water molecules act as hydrogen bond donors and acceptors to the unbonded carboxylate oxygen atoms in adjacent monomers giving rise to a three-dimensional molecular network.  相似文献

Hydrogen peroxide oxidation of platinum(II) compounds containing labile groups such as Cl, OH, and alkene moieties has been carried out and the products characterized. The reactions of [PtII (X)2 (N–N)] (X = Cl, OH, X2 = isopropylidenemalorate (ipm); N–N 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine [(dmpda), N-isopropyl-1,3-propanediamine (ippda)] with hydrogen peroxide in an appropriate solvent at room temperature affords [PtIV (OH)(Y)(X)2(N–N)] (Y = OH, OCH3). The crystal structures of [PtIV(OH)(OCH3)(Cl)2(dmpda)]·2H2O (P-1 bar, a = 6.339(2) Å , b = 9.861(1) Å, c = 11.561(1) Å, a = 92.078(9)°, β = 104.78(1)°, γ=100.54(1)°, V = 684.3(2) Å3, Z = 2R = 0.0503) and [PtIV(OH)2(ipm)(ippda)]·3H2O (C 2/c, a = 27.275(6) Å, b=6.954(2) Å, c = 22.331(4) Å, β = 118.30(2)°, V = 3729(2) Å3, Z = 8, R = 0.0345) have been solved and refined. The local geometry around the platinum(IV) atom approximates to a typical octahedral arrangement with two added groups (OH and OCH3; OH and OH) in a transposition. The platinum(IV) compounds with potential labile moieties may be important intermediate species for further reactions.  相似文献

The reaction between triphenylbismuth, hydrogen peroxide, and 3,4,5-trifluorobenzoic or pentafluorobenzoic acid (molar ratio 1 : 1 : 2, respectively) in ether gave triphenylbismuth bis(3,4,5-trifluorobenzoate) (I) and triphenylbismuth bis(pentafluorobenzoate) (II) in 74 and 89% yields, respectively. The structures of compounds I and II were established by X-ray diffraction. The Bi atoms have a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal coordination with acylate groups in the axial positions. The OBiO angles are 170.2(2)° and 171.5(2)° in I and II, respectively. The Bi–C(Ph)eq bond lengths vary in the range of 2.187(6)–2.204(5) Å, the Bi–O(acyl) lengths are 2.256(5) Å in I, and 2.281(5) and 2.318(5) Å in II. In the crystals I and II, the Bi and carbonyl O atoms are involved in intramolecular interactions (Bi···O(=C) 2.926(5)–3.176(5) Å), which increase the equatorial CBiC angles on the side of these contacts to 136.2(3)° and 138.6(2)° in I and II, respectively.  相似文献

Transition metal complexes of arginine (using Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) cations separately) were synthesized and characterized by FTIR, TG/DTA‐DrTG, UV‐Vis spectroscopy and elemental analysis methods. Cu(II)‐Arg complex crystals was found suitable for x‐ray diffraction studies. It was contained, one mole CuII and Na+ ions, two arginate ligands, one coordinated aqua ligand and one solvent NO3? group in the asymmetric unit. The principle coordination sites of metal atom have been occupied by two N atoms of arginate ligands, two carboxylate O atoms, while the apical site was occupied by one O atom for CuII cation and two O atoms for CoII, NiII, ZnII atoms of aqua ligands. Although CuII ion adopts a square pyramidal geometry of the structure. CoII, NiII, ZnII cations have octahedral due to coordination number of these metals. Neighbouring chains were linked together to form a three‐dimensional network via hydrogen‐bonding between coordinated water molecule, amino atoms and O atoms of the bridging carboxylate groups. CuII complex was crystallized in the monoclinic space group P21, a = 8.4407(5) Å, b = 12.0976(5) Å, c = 10.2448(6) Å, V = 1041.03(10) Å3, Z = 2. Structures of the other metal complexes were similar to CuII complex, because of their spectroscopic studies have in agreement with each other. Copper complex has shown DNA like helix chain structure. Lastly, anti‐bacterial, anti‐microbial and anti‐fungal biological activities of complexes were investigated.  相似文献

The paramagnetic compounds [Ni2(HMTA)(i-Bu2PS2)4] (I) and [Ni2(TEDA)(i-Bu2PS2)4] (II) (eff = 3.11 and 3.23 B, respectively) were synthesized by reacting diamagnetic Ni(i-Bu2PS2)2 with hexamethylenetetramine (HMTA) and triethylenediamine (TEDA) in ethanol. The crystal structure of I was established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis (CAD4 diffractometer, MoK radiation, 1483 F hkl, R = 0.0648). The crystals are monoclinic: a = 35.212(7) Å, b = 9.313(2) Å, c = 22.622(5) Å; = 129.97(3)°, V = 5685(2) Å3, Z = 4, (calcd) = 1.281 g/cm3, space group C2/c. The structure is built of discrete binuclear molecules. The coordination polyhedron of the Ni atom is a distorted tetragonal pyramid with four S atoms of two bidentate cyclic ligands i-Bu2PS2 in the base and the N atom of the bidentate bridging ligand HMTA at the axial vertex. Complexes I and II have similar electronic reflection spectra, which agrees with the C 4v symmetry of the ligand field.  相似文献

Single crystals of the heterovalent CuI,CuII π,σ-complex Cu7Br6.48Cl1.52 ⋅ 2C3N3(OC3H5)3 are synthesized by the ac electrochemical method from an ethanol solution containing 2,4,6-triallyloxy-1,3,5-triazine, CuCl2 ⋅ 2H2O, and CuBr2. The unit cell parameters of the crystals are: space group , a = 8.271(3) Å, b = 11.391(3) Å, c = 11.821(3) Å, α = 67.43(1)°, β = 84.41(2)°, γ = 85.14(2)°, V = 1022(1) Å3, and R(F) = 0.0714. The copper and halogen atoms form unique moieties Cu6X6 linked by bridging fragments [Cu2+ (C3N3(OC3H5)3)2]X2 into infinite chains. Each inorganic moiety Cu6X6 is linked with four 2,4,6-triallyl- oxy-1,3,5-triazine molecules. The ligand molecule is coordinated to one CuII atom through the nitrogen atom of the triazine cycle and to two CuI atoms through the C=C bonds of two allyl groups. For I, a= 9.774(2) Å, b= 10.821(2) Å, c= 13.061(3) Å, = 92.88(3)°, V= 1379.6(5) Å3, (calcd.) = 2.182 g/cm3, space group P21/n, Z= 4, N ref= 1558, and R= 0.031; for II, a= 10.581(1) Å, b= 10.584(2) Å, c= 11.478(2) Å, = 101.62(1)°, = 104.95(1)°, = 106.74(1)°, V= 1135.2(4) Å3, (calcd) = 2.007 g/cm3, space group P1, Z= 1, N ref= 2828, and R= 0.022. In cluster I, four Pd atoms form a planar cycle. The neighboring palladium atoms are bound by two acetate or by two mercaptide bridges, the Pd···Pd distances being 3.036–3.195 Å. In cluster II, Pd atoms form a planar six-membered cycle with Pd···Pd distances of 3.083–3.127 Å. The neighboring palladium atoms are bound by two mercaptide bridges. The formation of analogous clusters in solution was confirmed by IR spectroscopy.  相似文献

The structure of the crystalline β’ modification of a radical cation salt of bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalene with mixed dihalogen iodide (BEDT-TTF)2Br0.12Cl1.88I (I) was investigated by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Triclinic structure of I (space group , a = 6.638 Å, b = 9.779 Å, c = 12.920 Å; α = 87.24°, β = 79.10°, γ = 81.37°) was solved by direct methods and refined in a full-matrix anisotropic approximation to R = 0.030 using all 3897 measured independent reflections (CAD-4 automatic diffractometer, λMoK α). In the crystal structure of I the mixed Cl*-I-Cl* anion occupies the inversion center i(000), its terminal atom having a composition Cl* = Cl0.94Br0.06. The semi-radical cation (C10H8S8)1/2+ has one of two ethylene groups disordered.Original Russian Text Copyright © 2004 by A. N.
