本文依据基于知识的设计理论和灰色模糊方法建立了曲轴设计的专家系统。视该系统为两多维空间灰色映射靶的射靶问题,从而提出了该系统构成及其相应的搜索策略,并以船用6160A型柴油机曲轴设计为实例,建立了6160A曲轴的改型设计6160B曲轴的专家系统,采用了光弹性试验验靶,验证了它的正确性和有效性,为曲轴设计提供了一种智能型方法。 相似文献

The factors influencing roof design with respect to energy conservation are surveyed. In particular low-pitched (~15° inclination) roofs have been shown to possess thermal insulation advantages. This paper discusses the conceptual design of a scalable and reproducible hydrogen fueling station at Santa Monica, California. Hydrogen production using renewable energy sources such as biogas, which accounts for 100% of the total production, has been discussed. The fueling station consists of a direct fuel cell (DFC) 300 fuel cell for on-site generation of 136 kg/day of hydrogen and 300 kW of electric power, five hydrogen storage tanks (storage capacity of 198 kg of H2 at 350 and 700 bar), four compressors which assist in dispensing 400 kg of hydrogen in 14 h, two hydrogen dispensers operating at 350 bar and 700 bar independently and a SAE J2600 compliant hydrogen nozzle. Potential early market customers for hydrogen fuel cells and their daily fuel requirements have been computed. The safety codes, potential failure modes and the methods to mitigate risks have been explained. A well-to-wheel analysis is performed to compare the emissions and the total energy requirements of conventional gasoline and fuel cell vehicles. 相似文献

In the present study, the loop heat pipe (LHP) was miniaturized for application to electronic cooling. According to the capillary limitation, the wick structure parameters that would affect the heat transfer capacity were analyzed theoretically. Among the various wick parameters, this study especially investigated the effect of wick thickness, which has rarely been mentioned in the literature. Here, various thicknesses were analyzed theoretically and then tested experimentally. The results showed that the temperature on the evaporator wall dropped with decreasing wick thickness. This effect would lead to the raising of heat transfer capacity and the descending of thermal resistance. According to the analysis and the practical demand for electronic cooling, a miniature LHP was fabricated with the evaporator outer diameter of 13 mm and the evaporator length of 50 mm. The testing results showed that, at the allowable working temperature of 80 °C, the maximum heat transfer capacity was up to 200 W and the thermal resistance was 0.17 °C/W. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Tidal turbine blades are subjected to significant thrust and torsional loadings due to the high density of the seawater in which they operate. These thrust loadings lead to high bending moments at the blade root, which can prove to be a serious design constraint for these devices and can have implications with respect to cost-effectiveness and scalability. This work presents a combined hydrodynamic-structural design methodology for a commercial scale (1.5 MW) tidal turbine. A hydrodynamic analysis of the blade is carried out to determine force distributions along the blade span under normal and extreme operating conditions. Using output from the hydrodynamic model, a pre-processor for computing blade structural properties is used to determine the strain distribution along the blade spar caps. The strain distributions from this analysis are then compared with a finite element model of the blade which is then used to compare the structural performance of glass fibre reinforced polymer (GFRP) and carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) as spar cap materials. 相似文献

Various designs of solar cookers have been theoretically investigated with a view to optimize their performance. Starting from a conventional box type cooker, various combinations of booster mirrors have been studied to arrive at a final design, aimed at providing a cooker, which can be fixed on a south facing window (for countries of northern hemisphere, mainly situated near the tropic of Cancer). This cooker, with a rear window opening, may provide higher cooking temperature for a fairly large duration of the day. Two or three changes in positions of the side booster mirrors, without moving the cooker as a whole has been proposed. The new design has been experimentally implemented and compared with a conventional box type solar cooker. Besides the convenience of a rear window opening, the cooker provides temperatures sufficiently high to enable cooking two meals a day. 相似文献
