Vasectomy by the Li method

The vasectomies were performed by the residents of the department without prior training in this surgical procedure. Four and a half months after the operation, a questionnaire was sent to the patients, posing questions about discomfort, pain, swelling, discolouration and infection as well as pain and bleeding following ejaculation. Eighty-five percent of the patients returned the questionnaire. We found a low rate of primary surgical complications: seven cases of infection (including antibiotic treatment on the suspicion of infection; one was verified as epididymitis) and one granuloma. Sixty-four, 39 and 45% respectively complained about postoperative pain, swelling and discolouration, but only half of the patients in each of these groups indicated discomfort. We see this as an indication that the method has a low rate of complications and, that this may be further reduced if the surgeon achieves sufficient routine in the procedures.

本文是为窦宗仪先生<李鸿章年(日)谱>在国内再版的序言.李鸿章作为洋务派重要代表人物,很长时间内,为慈禧所宠信,独当清朝内政外交之要冲.李氏所办政务,有许多是同外国人直接打交道.因此,外国人对李鸿章的活动的记载,对于了解李鸿章一生的功过是非,就显得十分重要.本文主要选择该书作者搜集的外国档案、外国人日记、报告以及在华的<字林西报>记者所记载的李鸿章史料为中心,探讨了李氏一生的重大事件:戈登与李鸿章苏州杀降、处理金玉均严重失策、签订<中俄密约>的主要责任不能归于李鸿章,以及李鸿章在甲午、戊戌、庚子的表现等问题.     

Raman spectroscopy of the structures of Li2O-SiO2 and Li2O-GeO2 melts

An analysis of the Li₂O-SiO₂ and Li₂O-GeO₂ systems in the temperature range from 298 to 1373 K has been performed by Raman spectroscopy. A comparison of the spectroscopic data for the crystalline phases, glasses, and melts allowed us to determine the main anion groups existing in these systems and to establish the structural changes induced by changes in the temperature and composition.

这次会议听取了罗长树会长的工作报告,改选了秘书长,调整了部分理事会成员,新吸收了9个团体会员,相应增补了理事9名.会期虽短,但内容丰富,开得紧凑,开得充实,会议是成功的. 会议就要结束了,我再讲几点意见,供大家参考.     

焙烧锂云母含氟量对锂溶出率的影响研究

对不同含氟量的焙烧锂云母进行了压煮溶出试验。结果表明：将焙烧锂云母的含氟量控制在2．5％以下，并采用适当工艺，可以使LiO2的溶出率达到97％～98％。
