Six cardenolides have been isolated from the leaves ofAcokanthera venenata G. Don: AV-1, mp 252–255°C, [] D 20 +39.4° (MeOH); AV-2, mp 199–208°C, [] D 20 -59.3° (MeOH); AV-3, mp 269–275°C/300–304°C, [] D 21 –69.8° (MeOH); AV-4, mp 279–289°C; AV-5, mp 222–225°, [] D 20 -64.3° (MeOH); and AV-6, mp 193–196°C [] D 20 –23.8° (MeOH — CHCl3). AV-5 has been identified as acovenoside A. AV-3 is a new cardiac glycoside: it is 1-acetoxy-3-(4-O--D-glucosyl-3-O-methyl--L-talomethylosyloxy)-14-hydroxy-5, 14-card-20(22)-enolide (glucoacovenoside B).Khar'kov State Pharmaceutical Institute. Oxidation of molybdenum(II) thiopivalate and thiobenzoate in the presence of -picoline or pyridine results in the formation of dinuclear molybdenum(V) complexes of the general formulae [Mo2O2(-O)2(-SO4)L4] with L = -picoline or pyridine and [Mo2O2(-O)(-S)(-SO4)L4] with L = -picoline. As determined by X-ray structure analysis, two complexes with -picoline differ in their bridging cores: In one complex, two Mo atoms are doubly bridged through two oxygen atoms; in the other, one Mo atom is doubly bridged through oxygen and sulfur atoms. However, they both crystallize together. The product is solvated with -picoline and water molecules. Molybdenum atoms exhibit distorted octahedral coordinations. The same complexes were prepared also through direct reactions of [Mo2O3(O2CCH3)4] with thiopivalic and thiobenzoic acid in the presence of -picoline or pyridine. The appearance of the oxo-oxygens and sulfido-sulfur as well as sulfato ligand is explained by the molybdenum-catalyzed oxidation of thiocarboxylates.  相似文献

The chlorination kinetics of pure vanadia was studied via isothermal thermogravimetric measurements, with CCl4, CoCl2 and Cl2 as chlorinating agents. At temperatures where chemical control was predominant, apparent activation energies of 77, 48 and 126 kJ: mol–1 were obtained for chlorination by CCl4, COCl4 and Cl2, respectively. For interpretation of the conversion vs. time curves in the whole conversion range, a non-uniform particle size distribution was assumed, where the reacting solid phase was considered to be composed of thin plates of different thicknesses. With this model, a fairly good correspondence was obtained between the measured and calculated kinetic curves. Selected thermodynamic calculation data on the V2O5 + CCl4, V2O5 + COCl2 and V2O5 + Cl2 systems are presented.
Zusammenfassung Mittels isothermen Thermogravimetriemessungen wurde die Kinetik der Chlorierung von reinem Vanadiumoxid mit CCl4, COCl2 und Cl2 als Chlorierungsmittel untersucht. Bei Temperaturen mit vorherrschender chemischer Kontrolle wurde für die Chlorierung mit CCl4, COCl2 bzw. Cl2 Bruttoaktivierungsenergien von 77, 48 bzw. 126 kJ/mol erhalten. Zur Interpretation der Konversion-Zeit-Diagramme im gesamten Conversionsbereich wurde eine nichteinheitliche Teilchengrösseverteilung angenommen, namentlich den Bestand der reagierenden Festphase aus dünnen Plättchen unterschiedlicher Dicke. Mit diesem Modell konnte eine recht gute Übereinstimmung zwischen errechneten und ermittelten kinetischen Kurven erhalten werden. Einige thermodynamische Rechenbeispiele für die Systeme V2O5 + CCl4, V2O5 + COCl2 und V2O5+Cl2 wurden gegeben.

The parameters of the IR bands for the (AH) stretching vibration (the frequencies, the widths, and partly the intensities) were measured in a series of AH ... B H complexes between one base B (ethylene oxide) and 17 various OH, NH, and CH acids in carbon tetrachloride solutions. The width 1/2 and shift =0 0– (from the frequency 0 0 of the gaseous AH) of the investigated bands amount to 530 and 740 cm–1. A relationship close to direct proportionality between the broadening and the shift of the band for the H bond was found for all the H complexes. The relationship was insensitive to the medium and was preserved for the gaseous complex and in the undiluted ethylene oxide; it did not change greatly when was calculated from the free AH in carbon tetrachloride. This partial (with constant B) proportionality is not observed in the traditional series of acids (phenol, alcohol) with various bases, where agreement is only observed for 1/2 and . cThe electric-donating power of ethylene oxide (0.79±0.03) on the E scale (with reference to diethyl ether, E=1) was determined from the increase and shift of (AH).Translated from Teoreticheskaya i Éksperimental'naya Khimiya, Vol. 24, No. 4, pp. 461–466, July–August, 1988.  相似文献

The localized molecular orbitals (LMOs) and Mulliken bond orders for the cluster anions of [Et4N]2[Mo2S4(edt)2] (1), [(CH3CH2)4N][Mo2CuS4(PPh3)(edt)2] (2) and the cluster molecule [Mo2Cu2S4(PPh3)2(edt)2] (3) have been calculated by means of the Edmiston-Ruedenberg energy localization technique under the CNDO/2 approximation. The results of the LMOs calculations show that there are two pairs of (S1 Mo) bonds each pair of the Mo atoms and the terminal S1 atoms in the anion of (1). In the addition reactions of the cluster compound (1) with one or two Cu atoms these (S1 Mo) bonds are sequentially opened and form correspondently the cluster compounds (2) and (3) with the three-centered or four-centered bonds among the copper, sulfur, and molybdenum atoms, accounting for the stronger bonding of the Cu atom to the Mo-S cluster compounds such as (1). This also gives the explanation of chemical bonding for the [2+1] and [2+2x1] synthetic reaction schemes of the compounds (2) and (3). The structural features for the cluster compounds studies are briefly discussed as well.  相似文献

The octahedral Cs4[Re6S8Br6] cluster complex was obtained by the hightemperature (850°) reaction of stoichiometric amounts of elemental substances (metallic rhenium, sulfur, bromine) in molten CsBr. Crystal hydrate of Cs4[Re6S8Br6]· 2H2O composition was isolated by recrystallization from an aqueous HBr solution. The crystal structure of the hydrate was determined by means of singlecrystal Xray structural analysis. The compound crystallizes in the hexagonal system with space group P63/mcm and unit cell parameters a = 9.762(1), c = 18.763(2), Vcell = 1548.5(3)3, Z = 2, d calc = 5.192 g/cm3.  相似文献

Studies of the IR spectra of surface species produced via NO adsorption on selectively photoreduced V/SiO2 catalysts indicate that at low coverages NO is adsorbed on V3+ ions to form strongly bonded mononitrosyl species V3+...... NO. With increasing NO coverage, V3+ is oxidized to V4+, which is accompanied by the appearance of gaseous N2O and weak adsorption of NO on V4+.

On the basis of chemical transformations and with the aid of physicochemical results, the structure of glycoside I isolated from the roots of the plantMedicago sativa has been established as hederagin 3-O-[O--L-arabinopyranosyl-(1 2)--D-glucopyranosyl-(1 2)--L-arabinopyranoside] 28-O--D-glucopyranoside. Compound (I), C52H84O22, mp 210–212°C, [] D 21 +38.4° (c 1.48; methanol). Acid hydrolysis of (I) led to hederogenin (II) — C30H48O4, mp 326–330°C, [] D 23 +84.2° (c 0.19; pyridine. The Hakomorimethylation of glycoside (I) yielded the permethylate (IV) — C65H11O22 [] D 23 +41.6° (c 1.79; methanol). The GLC analysis of the products of the methanolysis of compound (IV) showed the presence of 3,4,6-tri-O-methyl-D-glucopyranose, 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-methyl-D-glucopyranose, 3,4-di-O-methyl-L-O-arabinopyranose, and 2,3,4-tri-o-methyl-L-arabinopyranose. The alkaline hydrolysis of glycoside I gave compound (III) with mp 230–233°C, [] D 21 +35.2° (c 0.21; methanol), which was identified as medicoside C. The title reaction is first order each in vanadium(V) and Os(VIII) and fractional order with respect to DMSO. The rate is found to decrease with increasing concentrations of sulfuric, perchloric and acetic acid, whereas the rate increases with the increasing concentrations of sodium bisulfate and sodium perchlorate. Thermodynamic parameters like Ea, H, S and G were evaluated. A suitable mechanism consistent with the observed kinetics is proposed.  相似文献

Kinetics of OsO4 catalyzed oxidation of chalcones by Ce4+ has been studied in aqueous acetic-sulfuric acid medium in the temperature range 313 to 338 K. The order in [oxidant] is zero while the order with respect to [substrate] and [catalyst] are each fractional. The rate of the reaction decreased with increase in percentage of acetic acid while [H+] had practically no effect on the rate The rates of various substituted chalcones (with substituents in the phenyl. ring attached to the moiety) are in the orderp-CH3>m-CH3>H>p-Cl>m-Cl>m-NO2>p-NO2. A mechanism in which formation of a cyclic ester between chalcone and OsO4 in a fast step followed by its decomposition in a rate-determining step is envisaged.

A new direction of the reaction of pennogenin diacetate with BF3·Et2O has been discovered in which a previously unknown dimeric steroid is formed — (25R,22R,25R)-3,3-diacetoxy-26,22-epoxy-16,16-bifurosta-5,20(22), 5,17(20)-tetraen-26-ol, the structure of which has been established as the result of an analysis of IR, UV,1H and13C NMR, and mass spectra. By the reaction of cluster [Mo3OS3](dtp)4(H2O) used as starting material with CuI using [3+1] mode, two novel heterometallic-heterobridging cubane-type tetranuclear cluster compounds [CuMo3OS3]·I·(-OAc)[S2P(OC2H5)2]3·L [(I)L=py, (II)L=DMF] [dtp=S2P(OC2H5)2; OAc=OOCCH3] containing [CuMo3OS3] core have been obtained. Compounds (I) and (II) have been characterized by IR, EPR, UV-VIS, electrochemistry and X-ray crystallography. By comparison of these two compounds with the analogous [CuMo3S4] series in the structure and molecular orbital calculation, the influence of mixed S/O bridging on the structure is discussed. It is demonstrated that the {Mo3S3} cluster ring in [Mo3OS3]4+ possesses a similar quasi-aromaticity to [Mo3S4]4+. The thermal properties of coordination compounds of the composition Cu(NCS)2L2 (whereL=pyridine, 2-, 3- and 4-picoline, and 2,3-, 2,4-, 2,5-, 2,6-, 3,4- and 3,5-lutidine) are dealt with. The thermal decomposition of these compounds begins with the release of the ligandL. The compounds with pyridine derivatives containing a methyl substituent at position 2 show a markedly decreased initial decomposition temperature. It was found that X-ray irradiation caused a reduction of the central atom Cu(II) in the coordination compounds under investigation. X-ray electron spectra data showed the stability of the compounds Cu(NCS)2L2 withL=picoline or lutidine having a methyl substituent at position 2 to be distinctly lower in the surface layers. From the given series, the compounds Cu(NCS)2(pyridine)2 and Cu(NCS)2(3,5-lutidine)2 exhibit an analogous course of thermal decomposition in nitrogen atmosphere up to 600°. The stoichiometries of thermal decomposition are discussed.
Zusammenfassung Der Artikel befaßt sich mit den thermischen Eigenschaften von Koordi-nationsverbindungen der Zusammensetzung Cu(NCS)2 L 2 (L= Pyridin, 2-, 3-, 4-Pikolin, 2,3-, 2.4-, 2,5-, 2,6-, 3,4- und 3,5-Lutidin). Die thermische Zersetzung dieser Verbindungen beginnt mit der Abspaltung des LigandenL. Die Verbindungen mit Pyridinderivaten, welche einen Methylsubstituenten in Position 2 im Pyridinring enthalten, zeigen eine deutlich herabgesetzte anfängliche Zersetzungstemperatur. Es wurde gefunden, daß die Röntgenbestrahlung eine Reduktion des zentralen Cu(II)-Atoms bei den untersuchten Koordinationsverbindungen herbeiführte. Die Daten der Röntgen-Elektronenspektren zeigten, daß die Stabilität der Verbindungen Cu(NCS)2L2 mitL=Pikolin oder Lutidin, welche einen Methylsubstituenten in Position 2 enthalten, in den Oberflächenschichten wesentlich geringer ist. Von der gegebenen Reihe der Verbindungen zeigen Cu(NCS)2(Pyridin)2 und Cu(NCS)2(3,5-Lutidin)2 in Stickstoff-Atmosphäre bis zu 600° einen ähnlichen Verlauf der thermischen Zersetzung. Die Stöchiometrie ihrer thermischen Zersetzung wird beschrieben.

Résumé L'article a trait aux propriétés thermiques des composés de coordination de composition Cu(SCN)2L2 (L=pyridine, 2-, 3-, 4-picoline, 2,3-, 2,4-, 2,5-, 2,6-, 3,4-, 3,5-lutidine). La décomposition thermique de ces composés commence avec la libération du ligandL. Les composés avec des dérivés de la pyridine contenant un substituant méthyle en position 2 sur le cycle de la pyridine présentent une température initiale de décomposition qui se trouve abaissée de manière appréciable. On observe que le traitement aux rayons X provoque une réduction de l'atome central Cu(II) dans les composés de coordination étudiés. Les données fournies par les spectres électroniques des rayons X ont montré que la stabilité des composés Cu(SCN)2L2 avecL= picoline ou lutidine, ayant un substituant méthyle en position 2, est nettement plus faible dans les couches superficielles. Dans cette série de composés, Cu(SCN)2 (pyridine)2 et Cu(SCN)2(3,5-lutidine)2 montrent, en atmosphère d'azote, jusqu'à 600°, un processus analogue de décomposition thermique. La stoechiométrie de leur réaction de décomposition thermique est examinée.

Summary CuII and NiII coordination compounds with N,N,N,N-tetrakis[(2-benzimidazolyl)methyl]-1,2-cyclohexanediamine (CDTB) have been prepared and characterized. The crystal structure of [Cu(CDTB)](ClO4)2 has been determined. The geometry around the Cu atom is highly irregular and can best be described as a cis-distorted octahedron, with four short CuN bond distances of 1.988(3) Å and 2.028(3) Å, and two very long CuN bond lengths of 2.543(4) A. The cis NCuN chelate angles in the complex range from 68.8(2) for N(1)CuN(1) to 141.03° for N(4)CuN(1). The cyclic voltammogram of the complex shows a fully reversible one-electron redox wave at E 1/2 = 0.162V versus standard calomel electrode, corresponding to the CuI/II redox couple. The structure of [Ni(CDTB)](NO3)2 ·EtOH has also been determined. The geometry around the Ni atom in this compound can be described as distorted octahedral, with N(4), N(4), N(1), N(1) as the ligating atoms in the basal plane, with cis chelate angles ranging from 79.37(10) to 120.9(2)° with the trans N(2)NiN(2) angle at 175.1(2)°. The structural differences in these two compounds are undoubtedly electronic rather than steric.  相似文献

Densities for monosaccharide (D-xylose, D-arabinose, D-glucose, D-galactose)–NaI–water solutions were measured at 298.15 K and were used to calculate the apparent molar volumes of these saccharides and NaI. Infinite dilution apparent molar volumes for the saccharides (V,S) in aqueous NaI and those for NaI (V,E) in aqueous saccharide solutions and partial molar volumes of the saccharides (VS) and NaI (VE) at each composition have been evaluated, together with the standard transfer volumes of the saccharides (tr VS) from water to aqueous NaI and those of NaI (trVE) from water to aqueous saccharide solutions. It was shown that the tr VS and trVE values are positive and increase with increasing co-solute molalities. Volumetric parameters indicating the interactions of NaI with saccharides in water were also obtained and applied to explore the interactions between saccharides and NaI in water. A comparison of the ES value for NaI with those for NaCl and NaBr showed that for a given saccharide, except for glucose, the ES value for NaBr is the largest of three sodium halides (NaCl, NaBr and NaI). These were interpreted in terms of the apparent molar electrostriction volumes ( Ve) and the structure interaction model.  相似文献

Summary Kinetics of the dissociation ofm-phenylene-dibiguanidecopper(II) ion,N-salicylideneglycyl-glycinatocuprate(II) ion andN-salicylideneglycinato-aquocopper(II) in acid media, forming aquo-copper(II) ion, have been studied by the stopped-flow spectrophotometric technique. Dissociation of the complexes occurs in two consecutive steps, the first being faster than the second. For them-phenylenedibiguanide complex each step exhibits second order acid dependance,k x=k x [H+]2 wherek x is the observed pseudo-first order rate constant. However, the Schiff base complexes show first order acid dependance,k x=k x [H+], for both steps. The results, with relatively low H and highly negative S values, are consistent with a solvent-assisted dissociative process.  相似文献

Cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic coulometry techniques were used to determine how the redox properties of osmium binuclear -oxocarboxylates [Os2 IV(-O)(-O2CR)2Cl4L2] (R = CH3, CCl3; L = PPh3 and R = CH3; L = AsPh3) are influenced by the nature of the bridging carboxylate ligand RCOO and ligand L. It was shown that all compounds in solution of dichloromethane undergo two single-electron reduction processes. The data obtained were compared with the DFT calculations of the electronic structure of the model complexes [Os2 IV(-O)(-O2CR)2Cl4L2] (R = CH3, CCl3; L = PH3 and R = CH3; L = AsH3).  相似文献
