Three complexes of composition [Co3(Hdcp)2(phen)3(H2O)2]n · nH2O (1), [Ni2(Hdcp)2(H2O)4](Im)2 (2) and [Cu2(Hpca)2(H2O)2(Im)2] (3) (H3dcp = 3,5-pyrazoledicarboxylic acid, H2pca = 1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylic acid, Im = imidazole and phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) have been synthesized via hydrothermal reactions and their structures have been characterized. Complex 1 is mainly constructed by Hdcp and ancillary ligand 1,10-phenanthroline and exhibits one-dimensional linear chain structure. Complexes 2 and 3 are pyrazolato-bridged dinuclear complexes. The ancillary imidazole ligand was not involved in the coordination and stacked to the lattice of the complex in 2. In the process of synthesis 3, imidazole ligand was coordinated to the metal centre; with one of the carboxylic group of the H3dcp ligand was eliminated to form [Cu2(Hpca)2(H2O)2(Im)2] (3) in situ. The results of magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate that there exist antiferromagnetic interactions between Co(II) and Ni(II) centres in compounds 1 and 2, respectively.  相似文献

Complexes [Cu(HSas)(H2O)] · 2H2O (H3Sas = N-(2-hydroxybenzyl)-l-aspartic acid) (1), [Cu(HMeSglu)(H2O)] · 2H2O (H3MeSglu = (N-(2-hydroxy-5-methylbenzyl)-l-glutamic acid) (2), [Cu2(Smet)2] (H2Smet = (N-(2-hydroxybenzyl)-l-methionine) (3), [Ni(HSas)(H2O)] (4), [Ni2(Smet)2(H2O)2] (5), and [Ni(HSapg)2] (H2Sapg = (N-(2-hydroxybenzyl)-l-aspargine) (6) have been synthesized and characterized by chemical and spectroscopic methods. Structural determination by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies revealed 1D coordination polymeric structures in 2 and 4, and hydrogen-bonded network structure in 5 and 6. In contrast to previously reported coordination compounds with similar ligands, the phenol remains protonated and bonded to the metal ions in 2 and 4, and also probably in 1. However, the phenolic group is non-bonded in 6.  相似文献

Two new first-raw transition metal diphosphonate complexes, namely, {[Ni3([hpyedpH)2(H2O)4]·(H2O)2}n (1) and [Mn[hpyedpH2](H2O)]n (2), based on a multidentate ligand 1-hydroxy-2-(3-pyridyl)-ethylidene-1,1-diphosphonic acid (hpyedpH4) have been synthesized under hydrothermal reaction and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy and element analyses. The data reveals that complex 1 is a 2D layer structure, whereas the complex 2 possesses a 1D motif. The powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) patterns for complexes 1 and 2 were collected as well, which match well with the ones calculated from their single-crystal structure data. Magnetic measurements show that complex 1 is a ferrimagnet with Tc = 5.0 K. Magnetic studies of complex 2 indicate antiferromagnetic behavior.  相似文献

Tuning the substituents of triazoles, we obtained di- and tri-nuclearic triazole-nickel complexes [Ni2(deatrz)4(H2O)5](SO4)2 · 7H2O (1) and [Ni3(dmtrz)6(H2O)6](SO4)3 · 21H2O (2) (deatrz = 3,5-diethanyl-4-amino-1,2,4-triazole; dmtrz = 3,5-dimethanyl-1,2,4-triazole). The X-ray single-crystal diffraction results reveal that sulfate anions and water clusters form supramolecular networks in both complexes. In 1, a supramolecular two-dimensional structure was fabricated by nano-sized grid with novel tetramer water rings templated via binuclear-nickel(II) cations, while in 2, water molecules and sulfate anions construct the first sulfate-water three-dimensional supramolecular network as host to encapsulate trinuclear-nickel guests.  相似文献

Reaction of [CuIIL⊂(H2O)] (H2L = N,N′-ethylenebis(3-ethoxysalicylaldimine)) with nickel(II) perchlorate in 1:1 ratio in acetone produces the trinuclear compound [(CuIIL)2NiII(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (1). On the other hand, on changing the solvent from acetone to methanol, reaction of the same reactants in same ratio produces the pentametallic compound [(CuIIL)2NiII(H2O)2](ClO4)2·2[CuIIL⊂(H2O)]·2MeOH (2A), which loses solvated methanol molecules immediately after its isolation to form [(CuIIL)2NiII(H2O)2](ClO4)2·2[CuIIL⊂(H2O)] (2B). Clearly, formation of 1 versus 2A and 2B is solvent dependent. Crystal structures of 1 and 2A have been determined. Interestingly, compound 2A is a [3 × 1 + 1 × 2] cocrystal. The cryomagnetic profiles of 1 and 2B indicate that the two pairs of copper(II)···nickel(II) ions in the trinuclear cores in both the complexes are coupled by almost identical moderate antiferromagnetic interaction (J = −22.8 cm−1 for 1 and −26.0 cm−1 for 2B).  相似文献

A series of four new supramolecular complexes of cadmium(II), {[CdBr(H2biim)(PyCO2)(H2O)](H2O)} (1) (H2biim = 2,2′-biimidazole, PyCO2 = isonicotinate), [Cd(H2biim)2(HBDC)2] (2) (H2BDC = terephthalic acid), [Cd(H2biim)2(H2O)2](BDC) (3) and [Cd(H2biim)2(H2O)2](PyCO2)2 · 4H2O (4) have been prepared and characterized by X-ray crystallography, IR, fluorescence spectra and thermogravimetric analysis. Compound 1 exhibits an infinite chain-like structure through bridging isonicotinate. Strong interchain hydrogen bonds between isonicotinate and H2biim result in the robust 2-D sheet structure, responsible for the insolubility. The similar hydrogen bonds between H2biim and the coordinated 1,4-bdc and complementary hydrogen bonds between monoprotonated bdc are responsible for the robust 2-D layered structure of 2 that is insoluble in aqueous solution. 1,4-Bdc becomes uncoordinated in the soluble complex 3, although it has hydrogen bonded 2-D structure as well.  相似文献

Three new Fe(II) complexes [Fe(HIM2py)2(SCN)2] (1), [Fe(HIM2py)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2 · 2H2O (2), and [Fe(HIM2py)2(4,4-bipy)](ClO4)2 · 3CH3CH2OH (3) (4,4-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine, HIM2py = 1-hydroxyl-2(2′-pyridyl)-4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazole) have been synthesized and characterized structurally as well as magnetically. The X-ray analysis reveals that HIM2py ligands are coordinated to the metal ions as an unusual six-membered didentate chelate with the κ2N(py), O(HIM) mode. Fe(II) ions in complex 3 are bridged by 4,4-bipy, leading to a 1D chain structure. The magnetic behavior of complex 3 is investigated, showing weak antiferromagnetic interactions.  相似文献

Two new Zn(II) complexes containing guanidinium groups, [Zn(L1)Cl2](ClO4)2 · H2O · CH3OH (1) and [Zn(L2)Cl2](ClO4)2 · 0.5H2O (2), were synthesized and characterized (L1 = 5,5′-di[1-(guanidyl)methyl]-2,2′-bipyridyl bication and L2 = 6,6′-di[1-(guanidyl)methyl]-2,2′-bipyridyl bication). Both complexes are able to catalyze bis(p-nitrophenyl) phosphate (BNPP) hydrolysis efficiently. Obtained kinetic data reveal that both 1 and 2 show nearly 300- and 600-fold rate enhancement of BNPP hydrolysis, respectively, compared to their simple analogue without the guanidinium groups [Zn(bpy)Cl2] (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridy) (3). Enhanced acceleration for cleavage of BNPP could be attributed to cooperative interaction between the Zn(II) ion and the guanidinium groups by electrostatic interaction and H-bonding. Studies on inhibition of sequence-specific endonucleases (DraI and SmaI) by complexes show that 1 and 2 are able to recognize nucleotide sequence, -TTT^AAA-, and highly effectively cleave the plasmid DNA in the presence of hydrogen peroxide, while 3 has no specific binding to the DNA target sequences and only shows low DNA cleavage activity.  相似文献

A linear tri-nuclear oxamato bridged copper(II) complex [Cu3(pba)(dpa)2(H2O)(ClO4)](ClO4)·H2O (1) (pbaH4 = 1,3-propanediylbis(oxamic acid), dpa = 2,2′-dipyridylamine) was isolated from the reaction mixture of Na2[Cu(pba)]·3H2O, copper perchlorate hexahydrate and dipyridylamine in methanol. On reaction with dpa or DMF in basic medium (KOH) at ambient temperature complex 1 changed to dinuclear oxalate bridged copper(II) derivatives, [Cu2(μ-C2O4)(dpa)4](ClO4)2 (2) and [Cu2(μ-C2O4)(dpa)2(DMF)2](ClO4)2 (3), respectively. The complexes 1, 2 and 3 have been characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic tools, and also by the X-ray single crystal analysis. The hydrolysis of 1 in basic medium and thermo-gravimetric analysis has been studied. Absorption and emission spectral studies showed that complex 1 interacts with calf thymus-DNA (CT-DNA) with a binding constant (Kb) of 4.01 × 104 M−1 and linear Stern-Volmer quenching constant (Ksv) of 6.9 × 104. A strong anti-ferromagnetic interaction with a coupling constant JCuCu of 320.0 ± 0.3 cm−1 was observed from the study of magnetic behavior of complex 1 in the temperature range of 2-300 K. Electrochemical equivalency of three copper(II) ions in 1 was identified by getting only one quasi reversible cyclic voltammogram.  相似文献

The reaction of aqueous solutions of the preformed 1:1 Cu(ClO4)2-polydentate amine with tetrasodium 1,2,4,5-benzene tetracarboxylate (Na4bta) afforded three different types of polynuclear compounds. These include the tetranuclear complexes: [Cu4(Medpt)44-bta)(ClO4)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2·2H2O (1), [Cu4(pmdien)44-bta)(H2O)4](ClO4)4 (2), [Cu4(Mepea)44-bta)(H2O)2](ClO4)4(3), [Cu4(TPA)44-bta)](ClO4)4·10H2O (4) and [Cu4(tepa)44-bta)](ClO4)4·2H2O (5), the di-nuclear: [Cu2(DPA)22-bta)(H2O)2]·4H2O (6), [Cu2(dppa)22-bta)(H2O)2]·4H2O (7) and [Cu2(pmea)22-bta)]·14H2O (8) and the trinuclear complex [Cu3(dppa)33-bta)(H2O)2.25](ClO4)2·6.5H2O (9) where Medpt = 3,3′-diamino-N-methyldipropylamine, pmedien = N,N,N′,N″,N″-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine, Mepea = [2-(2-pyridyl)ethyl]-(2-pyridylmethyl)methylamine, TPA = tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine, tepa = tris[2-(2-pyridyl)ethyl)]amine, DPA = di(2-pyridymethyl)amine, dppa = N-propanamide-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine and pmea = bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-[2-(2-pyridylethyl)]amine. The complexes were structurally characterized by elemental analyses, spectroscopic techniques, and by X-ray crystallography for complexes 1, 2, 4, 6, 7 and 9. X-ray structure of the complexes reveal that bta4− is acting as a bridging ligand via its four deprotonated caboxylate groups in 1, 2 and 4, three carboxylate groups in 9 and via two trans-carboxylates in 6 and 7. The complexes exhibit extended supramolecular networks with different dimensionality: 1-D in 2 and 4 due to hydrogen bonds of the type O-H···O, 2-D in 1 and 7, and 3-D network in 6 as a result of hydrogen bonds of the types N-H···O and O-H···O. Magnetic susceptibility measurements showed very weak antiferromagnetic coupling between the CuII ions in 1-5, 7-9 (|J| = 0.02-0.87 cm−1) and weak ferromagnetic coupling for 6 (= 0.08 cm−1).  相似文献

A series of coordination compounds [Cd2(trad)7Br2][Cd(trad)Br3]2 (1), [Cd3(trad)6{N(CN)2}4(H2O)2](N(CN)2)2 (2), [{Cd2(trad)5}{Cd(N(CN)2)6}]·3CH3OH (3), [{Cd3(trad)6(SeCN)2}{Cd(SeCN)4}2] (4), [Cd2(trad)3(NCS)4] (5), [Cd3(tr2ad)3(μ-NCS)3](NCS)3 (6), [Cd3(tr2ad)6](NO3)6·22H2O (7), [Cu3(tr2ad)4(SO4)(H2O)3](SO4)2·34H2O (8) and [Cu2(OH)(tr2ad)2](NO3)3·4H2O (9) (trad = 4-(adamantan-1-yl)-1,2,4-triazole; tr2ad = 1,3-bis(1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)-adamantane) revealed the potential of 1,2,4-triazolyl functionalized adamantanes for design of metal-organic polymers incorporating polynuclear coordination units as multiconnected nodes. Structures 1-5 are based upon characteristic di- and trinuclear clusters involving triple triazole bridges [M(μ2-trad)3M] (M = Cd), while doubling of the ligand functionality (tr2ad) allows integration of the clusters into 3D polymeric frameworks 6-9 (M = Cd, Cu).  相似文献

Plumbagin (5-hydroxy-2-methyl-1,4-naphthoquinone, H-PLN) was isolated from Plumbago zeylanica, the anticancer traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Five new lanthanide(III) complexes of deprotonated plumbagin: [Y(PLN)3(H2O)2] (1), [La(PLN)3(H2O)2] (2), [Sm(PLN)3(H2O)2]⋅H2O (3), [Gd(PLN)3(H2O)2] (4), and [Dy(PLN)3(H2O)2] (5) were synthesized by the reaction of plumbagin with the corresponding lanthanide salts, in amounts equal to ligand/metal molar ratio of 3:1. The PLN-lanthanide(III) complexes were characterized by different physicochemical methods: elemental analyses, UV-visible, IR and 1H NMR and ESI-MS (electrospray ionization mass spectrum) as well as TGA (thermogravimetric analysis). The plumbagin and its lanthanide(III) complexes 1-5, were tested for their in vitro cytotoxicity against BEL7404 (liver cancer) cell lines by MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay. The five PLN-lanthanide (III) complexes 1-5 effectively inhibited BEL7404 cell lines growth with IC50 values of 11.0 ± 3.5, 5.1 ± 1.3, 6.1 ± 1.1, 6.4 ± 1.3, and 9.8 ± 1.5 μM, respectively, and exhibited a significantly enhanced cytotoxicity compared to plumbagin and the corresponding lanthanide salts, suggesting a synergistic effect upon plumbagin coordination to the Ln(III) ion. The lanthanide complexes under investigation also exerted dose- and time-dependent cytotoxic activity. [La(PLN)3(H2O)2] (2) and plumbagin interact with calf thymus DNA (ct-DNA) mainly via intercalation mode, but for [La(PLN)3(H2O)2] (2), the electrostatic interaction should not be excluded; the binding affinity of [La(PLN)3(H2O)2] (2) to DNA is stronger than that of free plumbagin, which may correlate with the enhanced cytotoxicity of the PLN-lanthanide(III) complexes.  相似文献

The reactions of 2,4-dimethyl-7-(2-pyridylamino)-1,8-naphthyridine (L1) with Zn(ClO4)2 · 6H2O, and bis(5,7-dimethyl-1,8-naphthyrid-2-yl)amine ligand (L2) with Zn(OAc)2 · 2H2O, ZnCl2 or Zn(ClO4)2 · 6H2O afforded four blue luminescent zinc(II) complexes, [Zn(L1)2](ClO4)2 · 2CH2Cl2 (1), [Zn(L2)(OAc)2] · CH2Cl2 (2), [Zn(L2)2][ZnCl4] · 3.5CH2Cl2 (3) and [Zn(L2)2](ClO4)2 (4), respectively. Crystal structures of complexes 1-3 have been determined by X-ray structural analyses as mononuclear complexes with pseudo-tetrahedral geometry. The crystal packing of 1 reveals the coordination cation which is self-assembled to stair chains through aromatic π-π interactions. The intermolecular N-H?O hydrogen bond in 2 generates a centrosymmetric H-bonded dimer. However, the crystal lattice of 3 shows that the molecules are linked by extensive intermolecular hydrogen bonds between the amino groups and the anions, resulting in a one-dimensional zigzag chain. Furthermore, these molecular pairs or chains were self-assembled to two-dimensional sheets or three-dimensional networks through aromatic π-π interactions. All the zinc(II) complexes display intense intraligand 1(π-π) fluorescence with λmax at 380 and 393 nm for 1, 385 and 404 nm for 2-4 in methanol at room temperature, respectively. Emission quantum yields of these complexes are in the range from 0.41 to 0.57. The broad emission bands in their solid-state emission spectra are attributed to intraligand 1(π-π) transition and aromatic π-π interactions as well.  相似文献

Three novel complexes [Mn(atza)2(H2O)4] (1), [Mn(nptza)2(CH3OH)4] (2), and [Mn(a4-ptz)2(H2O)2]n · 2nH2O] (3) [atza = 5-aminotetrazole-1-acetato, nptza = 5-[(4-nitryl)phenyl] tetrazole-1-acetato, a4-ptz = 5-[N-acetato(4-pyridyl)] tetrazole] containing carboxylate-tetrazolate ligands have been synthesized and characterized by element analysis. X-ray crystallography shows that complexes 1 and 2 both contain mononuclear structure. The complex 3 is a 1D polymeric chain structure. Compounds 1-3 are self-assembled to form supramolecular structures through hydrogen bonds interactions.  相似文献

Three novel ternary copper(II) complexes, [Cu2(phen)2(l-PDIAla)(H2O)2](ClO4)2·2.5H2O (1), [Cu4(phen)6(d,l-PDIAla)(H2O)2](ClO4)6·3H2O (2) and [Cu2(phen)2(d,l-PDIAla)(H2O)](ClO4)2·0.5H2O (3) (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, H2PDIAla = N,N’-(p-xylylene)di-alanine acid) have been synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray crystallography and other structural analysis. Spectrometric titrations, ethidium bromide displacement experiments, CD (circular dichroism) spectral analysis and viscosity measurements indicate that the three compounds, especially the complex 3, strongly bind to calf-thymus DNA (CT-DNA). The intrinsic binding constants of the ternary copper(II) complexes with CT-DNA are 0.89 × 105, 1.14 × 105 and 1.72 × 105 M−1, for 1, 2 and 3, respectively. Comparative cytotoxic activities of the copper(II) complexes are also determined by acid phosphatase assay. The results show that the ternary copper(II) complexes have significant cytotoxic activity against the HeLa (Cervical cancer), HepG2 (hepatocarcinoma), HL-60 cells (myeloid leukemia), A-549 cells (pulmonary carcinoma) and L02 (liver cells). Investigations of antioxidation properties show that all the copper(II) complexes have strong scavenging effects for hydroxyl radicals and superoxide radicals.  相似文献

Two novel dinuclear nickel(II) complexes [Ni2(ntb)2(μ-tp)(H2O)1.61(CH3OH)0.39](NO3)2·5.13CH3OH·2.25H2O (1) and [Ni2(ntb)2(μ-fum)(H2O)(CH3OH)](NO3)2·6CH3OH·H2O (2) (tp = terephthalate dianion, fum = fumarate dianion, ntb = tris(2-benzimidazolylmethyl)amine) containing tetradentate poly-benzimidazole ligand were synthesized and structurally characterized by IR spectra, UV-Vis, elemental analysis and X-ray crystallography. The Ni(II) ions in 1 and 2 have distorted octahedral geometry with four nitrogen atoms of ntb, one oxygen atom of water and one oxygen atom supplied by the carboxylate group of the bridged dicarboxylato ligand. Complexes 1 and 2 consist of terephthalato- and fumarato-bridged dinickel(II) centers in bis(monodentate) bonding fashion. The Ni?Ni distances are 11.333 Å for 1 and 8.966 Å for 2. The magnetic susceptibility measurements at variable temperature show that two complexes exhibit weak antiferromagnetic interactions between nickel(II) ions with J values of −0.25 cm−1 and −0.36 cm−1, respectively.  相似文献

The P,P′diphenylmethylenediphosphinic acid (H2pcp) reacts with Co(ClO4)2 · 6H2O and 4,4′-bipyridine to give a mixture of two polymeric isomers of formula [Co(pcp)(bipy)0.5(H2O)2], {red (1) and pink (2)} and the new violet hybrid [Co(Hpcp)2] (3). The pure red and violet species have been obtained by the reaction of H2pcp with Co(CH3COO)2 · 4H2O and bipy or with Co(ClO4)2 · 6H2O, respectively. The analogous reaction of Ni(CH3COO)2 · 4H2O or Ni(ClO4)2 · 6H2O with H2pcp and bipy affords only the [Ni(pcp)(bipy)0.5(H2O)2] species (4). The two cobalt isomers present different structural arrangements. Whereas the red isomer (1) shows an undulated 2D layered structure, the pink one (2) forms an infinite monodimensional strand. Both the architectures extend to higher dimensions through hydrogen bonding interactions. The nickel derivative is isomorphous with the red cobalt isomer. The violet [Co(Hpcp)2] (3), which is isomorphous with the complexes of the reported series [M(Hpcp)2], M = Ca(II), Mg(II), presents a monodimensional polymeric structure. Compounds 1 and 4 show a very similar thermal behaviour, the two water molecules being lost in the temperature range 25-150 and 160-320 °C, respectively. Temperature dependent X-ray powder diffractometry (TDXD) has been performed on compound 1 in order to follow the structural transformations that occur during the heating process.  相似文献

Two new coordination polymers {[Mn(H2btc)(phen)(H2O)2]H2btc · H2O}n (1) [H3btc = 1,3,5-benzene tricarboxylic acid, phen = phenanthroline] and {[Zn3(btc)2(H2O)8](H2O)4}n (2) have been synthesised and structurally characterised. Both the complexes crystallise as 1D chain, which further propagates through ligand-based hydrogen bonding interactions into a 3D supramolecular architecture. Supramolecular framework of 1 is constructed by [Mn(H2btc)(phen)(H2O)2]+ as well as the constituent materials-uncoordinated H2btc and water molecules. Complex 2 exists as a corrugated chain with both the bridging and terminal Zn2+ ions and each zinc centre is coordinated to four water molecules. Both 1 and 2 are stacked by mutual π-stacking of the ligands and exhibit strong fluorescence emission band at 414 and 400 nm, respectively.  相似文献

In this work we report on the synthesis, crystal structure, and physicochemical characterization of the novel dinuclear [FeIIICdII(L)(μ-OAc)2]ClO4·0.5H2O (1) complex containing the unsymmetrical ligand H2L = 2-bis[{(2-pyridyl-methyl)-aminomethyl}-6-{(2-hydroxy-benzyl)-(2-pyridyl-methyl)}-aminomethyl]-4-methylphenol. Also, with this ligand, the tetranuclear [Fe2IIIHg2II(L)2(OH)2](ClO4)2·2CH3OH (2) and [FeIIIHgII(L)(μ-CO3)FeIIIHgII(L)](ClO4)2·H2O (3) complexes were synthesized and fully characterized. It is demonstrated that the precursor [FeIII2HgII2(L)2(OH)2](ClO4)2·2CH3OH (2) can be converted to (3) by the fixation of atmospheric CO2 since the crystal structure of the tetranuclear organometallic complex [FeIIIHgII(L)(μ-CO3)FeIIIHgII(L)](ClO4)2·H2O (3) with an unprecedented {FeIII(μ-Ophenoxo)2(μ-CO3)FeIII} core was obtained through X-ray crystallography. In the reaction 2 → 3 a nucleophilic attack of a FeIII-bound hydroxo group on the CO2 molecule is proposed. In addition, it is also demonstrated that complex (3) can regenerate complex (2) in aqueous/MeOH/NaOH solution. Magnetochemical studies reveal that the FeIII centers in 3 are antiferromagnetically coupled (J = − 7.2 cm− 1) and that the FeIII-OR-FeIII angle has no noticeable influence in the exchange coupling. Phosphatase-like activity studies in the hydrolysis of the model substrate bis(2,4-dinitrophenyl) phosphate (2,4-bdnpp) by 1 and 2 show Michaelis-Menten behavior with 1 being ~ 2.5 times more active than 2. In combination with kH/kD isotope effects, the kinetic studies suggest a mechanism in which a terminal FeIII-bound hydroxide is the hydrolysis-initiating nucleophilic catalyst for 1 and 2. Based on the crystal structures of 1 and 3, it is assumed that the relatively long FeIII…HgII distance could be responsible for the lower catalytic effectiveness of 2.  相似文献

A series of new binuclear copper (II) and nickel (II) complexes of the macrocyclic ligands bis(1,4,7-triazacyclononan-1-yl)butane (Lbut) and bis(1,4,7-triazacyclononan-1-yl)-m-xylene (Lmx) have been synthesized: [Cu2LbutBr4] (1), [Cu2Lbut(imidazole)2Br2](ClO4)2 (2), [Cu2Lmx(μ-OH)(imidazole)2](ClO4)3 (3), [Cu2Lbut(imidazole)4](ClO4)4 · H2O (4), [Cu2Lmx(imidazole)4](ClO4)4 (5), [Ni2 Lbut(H2O)6](ClO4)4 · 2H2O (6), [Ni2Lbut(imidazole)6](ClO4)4 · 2H2O (7) and [Ni2Lmx (imidazole)4(H2O)2](ClO4)4 · 3H2O (8). Complexes 1, 2, 7 and 8 have been characterized by single crystal X-ray studies. In each of the complexes, the two tridentate 1,4,7-triazacyclononane rings of the ligand facially coordinate to separate metal centres. The distorted square-pyramidal coordination sphere of the copper (II) centres is completed by bromide anions in the case of 1 and/or monodentate imidazole ligands in complexes 2, 4 and 5. Complex 3 has been formulated as a monohydroxo-bridged complex featuring two terminal imidazole ligands. Complexes 6-8 feature distorted octahedral nickel (II) centres with water and/or monodentate imidazole ligands occupying the remaining coordination sites. Within the crystal structures, the ligands adopt trans conformations, with the two metal binding compartments widely separated, perhaps as a consequence of electrostatic repulsion between the cationic metal centres. The imidazole-bearing complexes may be viewed as simple models for the coordinative interaction of the binuclear complexes of bis (tacn) ligands with protein molecules bearing multiple surface-exposed histidine residues.  相似文献
