Sliding-mode observers for systems with unknown inputs and measurement disturbances

The method to design sliding-mode observers for systems with unknown inputs and measurement disturbances is presented in the paper. An augmented system is constructed by viewing the measurement disturbances as unknow inputs. For such an augmented system, the so-called observer matching condition is not satisfied. Based on the construction of auxiliary outputs, the observer matching condition may be satisfied. High-order sliding-mode differentiators are developed to obtain the estimates of those unmeasurable variables contained in the auxiliary output vector. Employing the estimate of auxiliary output vector, a sliding-mode observer is designed. The simulation results to a real model show that the proposed method is effective.     

LMI Approach to Mixed H_｜H∞ Fault Detection Observer Design

To investigate the robust fault detection(RFD) observer design for linear uncertain systems,the H_ index and H ∞ norm are used to describe this observer design as optimization problems.Conditions for the existence of such a fault detection observer are given in terms of matrix inequalities.The solution is obtained by new iterative linear matrix inequality(ILMI) algorithms.The RFD observer design over finite frequency range in which D f does not have full column rank for a system is also considered.Numerical example demonstrates that the designed fault detection observer has high sensitivity to the fault and strong robustness to the unknown input.     

一类非线性不确定系统的多通道鲁棒故障诊断

针对一类含有状态时滞和扰动的非线性不确定系统,研究了一种基于状态估计的执行器故障诊断方法。在通过变换得到等价系统的基础上,构造全阶时滞观测器(TDO),削弱外扰影响,并利用神经网络设计的故障估计器在线估计出系统故障,实现多通道诊断,最后采用域值处理技术提高故障估计的鲁棒性。仿真示例表明了该方法的有效性。

Assessing attachment security with the Attachment Q Sort: meta-analytic evidence for the validity of the observer AQS

The reliability and validity of the Attachment Q Sort (AQS; Waters & Deane, 1985) was tested in a series of meta-analyses on 139 studies with 13,835 children. The observer AQS security score showed convergent validity with Strange Situation procedure (SSP) security (r = .31) and excellent predictive validity with sensitivity measures (r = .39). Its association with temperament was weaker (r = .16), which supports the discriminant validity of the observer AQS. Studies on the stability of the observer AQS are still relatively scarce but they have yielded promising results (mean r = .28; k = 4, n = 162). It is concluded that the observer AQS, but not the self-reported AQS, is a valid measure of attachment.
