微结构注塑机要求塑化均匀、计量和注射精密,故对注射单元的设计至关重要。本文介绍了微结构注塑成型制品的特点及其对注塑成型设备的特殊要求,分析比较了目前用于微结构注塑机的注射单元的优缺点。在此基础上,提出了单曲肘机构作为注射单元的思想,系统计算出了单曲肘机构的运动和受力特性,利用仿真软件ADAMS建立了单曲肘注射单元结构模型。  相似文献

A novel concept of microinjection molding system was designed and presented. The system was designed as a multimicroinjection module, which is matched with a vertical injection molding machine (IMM) and can be applied on commercial IMMs. A planetary gear pump was integrated in this system to complete the multi microinjection molding (MμIM). The module is fixed between the stationary platen and the mold of IMM. The plasticizing unit of the IMM provides the melt and initial pressure for the multi microinjection molding system. With this system, a commercial IMM could be upgraded to a precise microinjection machine and has the capability of precise metering for the microinjection molding. Melt flowing behavior was predicted through the 3D injection molding simulation and experiments were carried out to testify the performance of the MμIM. The injection molding performance was evaluated and the results revealed that the MμIM system could effectively realize the microinjection molding. POLYM. ENG. Isotactic polypropylene micro parts were molded at different injection speeds by microinjection molding. The morphology and micro structure were characterized by a polarizing microscope, and the mechanical properties of differently structured layers were characterized by nanoindentation experiments. The influence of injection speed on the nanoindentation mechanical properties of each structural layer of the micro parts was analyzed. The results showed that the mechanical properties of different layers were different, the modulus and hardness of the position near the core layer were largest, and the modulus and hardness of the position near the skin were smallest. It is compelling that the modulus and hardness of each layer decreased first and then increased as the injection speed increased under a higher melt temperature (240 °C). Meanwhile, the opposite trend was observed at a lower melt temperature (220 °C). This phenomenon can be attributed to the competitive mechanism of the shear heat effect and the disorientation effect. In addition, injection speed had a greater influence on the nanoindentation mechanical properties in the perpendicular direction than in the flow direction. This work systematically explored the relationship between the microstructure and the local mechanical properties, which can provide new insights for microinjection molding design in the future. © 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This study applies a magnetic induction heating method for rapid and uniform heating of a mold surface for injection molding of 2‐inch light‐guided plates (LGPs). Mold temperature is an important process parameter that affects microinjection molding quality. This research investigates the effects of high‐mold surface temperature generated by induction heating in enhancing the replication rate of microfeatures of LGPs. This study has three stages. First, an appropriate power rate setting is determined for induction heating and injection molding process window. Second, all key parameters affecting microfeature quality are identified to determine the optimum LGP micromolding parameters using the Taguchi and ANOVA methods. Third, the quality of microfeature heights and angles are experimentally verified. Polymethyl methacrylate was molded under various injection molding conditions to replicate an electroformed nickel stamper with V‐grooves 10 μm in width and 5 μm in depth. In this investigation, injection speed was set in the conventional range. Experimental findings indicate that instead of high‐mold temperature, the combination of low mold temperature and high surface temperature obtained using induction heating improve replication quality and reduce cycle time. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The use of plastic materials in place of metals is attractive because of their versatility and ease of batch fabrication, which reduces costs. This article investigates the possibility of using nylon compounds in place of metal materials to make cost‐effective parts through microinjection molding. Experimental results showed that the plastic parts were well formed with high accuracy and reproducibility through microinjection molding. The average tolerance in the dimensions of the plastic parts was less than 20 μm. The resulting composites with 15 wt % carbon particles exhibited the optimum improvement in accuracy, reproducibility, and wear resistance. In addition, the wear loss of the metal parts without lubrication was 4–10 times higher than that of the polymer compounds. The results revealed that the ball‐screw plates made with nylon compounds exhibited high accuracy, reproducibility, and wear resistance, could be produced at low cost, and they could successfully replace S316 metal parts in microinjection molding. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microinjection molding was carried out on polyoxymethylene (POM)/molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) nanocomposite prepared by solid state shear milling (S3M) technology. The morphology evolution and crystallization behavior were then investigated under different conditions of mold temperature and injection speed. The comparison between the microinjection molded micropart with conventional injection molded macropart was also conducted. Results showed that the higher mold temperature could improve the filling property and replication quality. The MoS2 particles played a heterogeneous nucleation role and remarkably affected the crystallization process of POM. Meanwhile, the crystallization orientation and skin‐core structure induced by the shear stress presented the similar evolution tendency under different microinjection conditions. The multi‐melting behaviors of microparts occurring under different microinjection conditions were attributed to the formation of shish‐kebab structures. The increase of crystallinity and the reduction of mechanical property occurring in macropart are related to its crystallization morphology formed, which is different from that of micropart. The results of this work would lay a foundation for preparation of POM/MoS2 transmission microparts with good comprehensive performance. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym.
