The Raman (including FT-Raman) and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra of 1,3-dihydroxybenzene, 1,4-dihydroxybenzene, 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde, 2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde, 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde, 1,2-dihydroxy-3-methoxybenzene, 2,5-dihydroxytoluene, 2,6-dihydroxytoluene, pentachlorophenol and pentabromophenol were measured. Raman polarisation measurements were made wherever possible. A normal coordinate treatment was carried out for both the in-plane and out-of-plane vibrations of these molecules using a 123-parameter-modified valence force field. An overlay least-squares technique was employed to refine the force constants using 347 frequencies of 10 molecules. The reliability of these force constants was tested by making a zero-order calculation for 10 related molecules. Unambiguous vibrational assignments of all the fundamentals were made using the potential energy distributions and eigenvectors.  相似文献

A zero-order normal coordinate analysis of both the in-plane and out-of-plane vibrations was made for p-, m- and o-methylbenzaldehydes; 3,5-dichloro-p-anisamide; 3,5-dibromo-p-anisamide; 4-chloro-3-nitrotoluene; 2-bromo-4-nitrotoluene and 2-bromo-5-nitrotoluene by transferring the force constants obtained before hand. The observed and calculated frequencies agreed reasonably well demonstrating the transferability of the force field. On the basis of calculated potential energy distributions and eigen vectors, several assignments suggested by earlier workers have been revised.  相似文献

Harmonic force constants, in-plane vibrational frequencies, and in-plane vibrational modes of cytosine were calculated by an ab initio Hartree—Fock SCF MO method. The force contants were calculated by the use of an energy gardient method with the STO-3G basis set, and then they were corrected into “4-31G force constants” by the scaling factors given by us previously for the case of uracil. The corrected set of force constants can produce a calculated vibrational spectra of cytosine and cytosine-1,amino-d3, that can be well corrected with the observed Raman and infrared spectra of these compounds, with little ambiguity. Thus, the assignments of all the in-plane vibrations are now practically established. The calculated vibrational modes, in addition, can account for the recently published resonance Raman effects of cytosine residue.  相似文献

The reliability of the force constants so obtained was tested by making a zero-order calculation for p-, m- and o-dinitrobenzenes, 1-fluoro-, 1-chloro- and 1-bromo-, 2,4-dinitrobenzenes, 2,4-difluoro- and 2,5-difluoro- and 2,5-dibromonitrobenzenes. The force field for the in-plane vibrations of TCNQ and TCNQ-d4, has been calculated by the iterative self consistent method of Koptev et al. (Opt. Spektrosk., 25 (1968) 350). With the new set of force constants an improved matching was obtained between the observed and calculated vibration frequencies in TCNQ and TCNQ-d4.  相似文献

The harmonic molecular force fields for the nucleic acid bases, cytosine, and guanine, that have been previously published by several investigators are tested by the calculation of the relative intensities of the in-plane modes in the ultraviolet resonance Raman (UVRR) effect from the two lowest lying absorption bands using a theoretical approach devised previously.1–3 Since only a fraction of the 2N – 3 in-plane vibrations of a molecule are active in the UVRR, the two criteria that are taken for the adjustment of the force constant are: (1) the closest possible agreement between the observed and calculated frequencies of the 2N – 3 in-plane vibrations, and (2) the closest possible agreement between the calculated and observed intensities of those few vibrations that are strongly active in the ultraviolet resonance Raman effect. In particular it is necessary that the force constants be adjusted to avoid the calculation of intense Raman lines with frequencies that are not observed in the UVRR spectrum. Using this criteria, a new force field has been developed that appears to give better agreement with the observed UVRR intensities than previously published ones. It is suggested that this calculation of the UVRR intensities can be used to refine molecular force fields in combination with other methods such as isotopic replacement currently in use to refine force constants.  相似文献

The uptake of 2,5-dimethylphenol and 2,6-dimethylphenol on aqueous surfaces was measured between 279 and 293 K, using the wetted-wall flow tube technique coupled with UV absorption spectroscopic detection. For both compounds, the uptake coefficients gamma were found to be independent of the KOH scavenger concentration in the range of 0.01 to 1 M (pH > pK(a)) and of the liquid-gas contact times. In addition, the uptake coefficients and the derived mass accommodation coefficients alpha show a negative temperature dependence in the investigated temperature range. The mass accommodation coefficients decrease from 1.1 x 10(-3) to 1.1 x 10(-4), and from 5.4 x 10(-4) to 6.4 x 10(-5) for 2,5-dimethylphenol and 2,6-dimethylphenol, respectively. These results are used to discuss the incorporation of these species into the liquid using the nucleation theory. Henry's law constants (HLC) of both compounds were directly measured using a dynamic equilibrium system based on the water/air equilibrium at the interface within the length of a microporous tube. The measurements were conducted over the range 278-293 K in both deionized water and 35 g L(-1) solution of NaCl. At 293 K and in pure water, HLC were found to be equal to (in units of M atm(-1)): 2,5-dimethylphenol, HLC = (1270 +/- 240); 2,6-dimethylphenol, HLC = (250 +/- 80). All of the values for HLC in 35 g L(-1) salt solution were 5-55% lower than the corresponding values in deionized water, depending on the compound and the temperature. These data (mass accommodation coefficients and Henry's law constants) were then used to estimate the partitioning of these phenolic compounds between gaseous and aqueous phases and the corresponding atmospheric lifetimes under clear sky (tau(gas)) and cloudy conditions (tau(multiphase)) have then been derived. The calculated multiphase lifetimes (in units of hours) are lower than those in gas phase at a cumulus temperature of 283 K (in parentheses): 2,5-dimethylphenol, 2.2 (3.5); 2,6-dimethylphenol, 3.8 (4.2).  相似文献

An approach to the synthesis of acyclo-1-deazathymidine nucleosides is described. Diels-Alder reaction of 3,5-dichloro-6-methyl-2H-1,4-oxazin-2-one with acetylenic compounds 4 and 5 yielded the 3-[(tetrahydropyran-2-yl)oxy]-methyl- and 3-bromomethyl-5-methyl-2,6-dichloropyridine intermediates 7 and 8. The bromomethyl group of compound 8 underwent easy substitution with the appropriate nucleophiles, permitting the introduction of acycLo sugar moieties. The resulting 3-substituted 2,6-dichloro-5-methyl pyridines 9a,b - precursors for some acyclo pyridine-C-nucleosides - were treated with sodium phenylmethoride to afford 2,6-dibenzyloxypyridines 10a,b. Debenzylation using a palladium-strontium carbonate catalyst gave the unstable C-nucleosides 2a,b of the 6-hydroxy-1H-pyridin-2-one type. A stable 6-hydroxy-1H-pyridin-2-one 2c, exempt from benzylic oxygen, was obtained via cycloaddition of THP-protected 6-hydroxy-1-hexyne.  相似文献

Abstract

2,4-; 2,6-; 2,3-; 3,4-; 2,5-; and 3,5-dichlorophenols by reaction with chlorosulfonic acid were converted to the following substituted benzenesulfonyl chlorides: 3,5-dichloro-2-hydroxy-; 3,5-dichloro-4-hydroxy-; 2,3-dichloro-4-hydroxy-; 4,5-dichloro-2-hydroxy-; 2,5-dichloro-4-hydroxy-; and 2,6-dichloro-4-hydroxy-respectively. In addition o-chlorophenol gave 5-chloro-4-hydroxybenzene-1,3-bis-sulfonyl chloride. The various sulfonyl chlorides have been condensed with nucleophilic reagents, e.g. ammonia, amines, hydrazine, phenylhydrazine, N, N-dimethylhydrazine, and sodium azide. 3,5-Dichloro-2-hydroxybenzenesulfonyl azide has been reacted with norbornene, triphenylphosphine, dimethylsulfoxide, and cyclohexene. 3,5-Dichloro-2-hydroxybenzenesulfonyl chloride with phenylisocyanate gave the 2-(N-phenyl-carbamoyloxy) derivative which on heating gave a heterocyclic compound. The chlorohydroxybenzenesulfonyl derivatives are of interest as potential herbicides and their ir and nmr spectral characteristics are briefly discussed.  相似文献

The in-plane vibrations of pyridine and its deuterated derivatives (4-d1, 2,6-d2, 3,5-d2, and d5) have been studied with the CNDO/2 force method. The calculated values of the force field scaled by five empirical parameters yield good agreement with the experimental spectra. The results seem to permit the reassignment of some bands.  相似文献

Aqueous alkaline depolymerization of technical hydrolysis lignin (THL) was carried out with a 5% NaOH solution at a temperature of 180°C for 6 hours, the ratio between the biomass and depolymerizing agent being 1:8. The poplar wood sawdust was treated under the same conditions for 2 hours, where anthraquinone was added as a catalyst (0.5 wt %). The poplar wood bark was treated for 4 hours, without anthraquinone. Compounds contained in the aqueous phase were extracted three times by means of toluene for a ratio between the organic and aqueous phases equal to 1:5, 1:5 and 1:5. The compounds 2-methoxyphenol, 2,6-dimethoxyphenol, 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde, 1-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)ethanone, 4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxybenzaldehyde, etc., were identified through GC-MS analysis in obtained extracts. A sensitive gas chromatographic method has been established for the determination of chlorine dioxide in water. With weak basic conditions (pH 9.0), chlorine dioxide reacts with iodide to form iodine, which reacts with 2,6-dialkylphenol to form 4-iodo-2,6-dialkylphenol. The volatile organic derivative was extracted with ethyl acetate, and then measured by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The reaction of the active proton of 2,6-dialkylphenols (2,6-dimethylphenol, 2,6-di-isopropylphenol and 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol) with iodine was tested, and compared to each other in terms of reactivity and stability of the derivatives. 2,6-dimethylphenol showed rapid reaction with iodine, and its derivative was stable for 2 weeks. The detection limit of chlorine dioxide in water was about 1.0 ng/mL, and the calibration curve showed good linearity with r2 = 0.998. The existent concentration of chlorine dioxide in water was calculated from multiplying the concentration calculated from the calibration curve of 4-iodo-2,6-dimethylphenol by 0.544. The method was sensitive, reproducible and simple enough to permit the reliable analysis of chlorine dioxide at the low ng/mL level in water.  相似文献

以呫吨酮为原料,经二氯亚砜氯化得到9,9-二氯呫吨中间体,无需分离纯化,将其分别与邻甲酚和2,6-二甲基苯酚进行取代反应,制得2个含呫吨结构的双酚化合物9,9-二(4-羟基-3-甲基苯基)呫吨和9,9-二(4-羟基-3,5-二甲基苯基) 呫吨,产率分别为81.0%和80.5%。 用FTIR、1H NMR、13C NMR和元素分析对其组成和结构进行了表征。 该法具有操作简单、反应条件温和及收率高等优点。  相似文献

A 51-parameter force field is established for the vibrations of the 4-nitropyridine N-oxide (NPO) and the 4-nitropyridine-d4 N-oxide (NPO-d4) molecules. The mean error between the 72 observed and calculated frequencies is 4.8 cm−1 for the in-plane vibrations and 2.1 cm−1 for the out-of-plane vibrations. The NCA calculations confirm our previous assignments for the NPO spectra, but four frequencies were permuted for NPO-d4. The force field calculations were extended to fit the vibrational frequencies of NPO in solution in CCl4, MeOH and H2O. The fact that a donor solvent favours one resonant form of NPO is clearly demonstrated by the variations of five force constants.  相似文献

Detailed quantum mechanical calculations of the interaction of cyclodextrin (α-, β-, and γ-CD) with 4-nitrophenol (I), 4-nitro-2,6-dimethylphenol (II), 4-nitro-3,5-dimethylphenol (III), and their anions (IVVI) with the formation of intercalation complexes are carried out for the first time. The calculations of the compounds are performed within the density functional theory by the hybrid Becke–Lee–Yang–Parr (B3LYP) method with LanL2DZ basis sets. For the α-CD+III and α-CD+VI complexes it is shown that a nitrophenol molecule of III and a nitrophenolate anion of VI are not contained in the α-CD torus, which agrees with the experimental equilibrium constants. It is found that the calculated equilibrium constants of the formation of guest–host complexes with phenolate anions are much larger than those of neutral molecules. The most stable CD complexes with nitrophenols and their anions should be expected for γ-CD. The β-CD complexes when the guest enters into the host cavity are formed only with compounds I, V, and VI.  相似文献

A novel and convenient synthetic method for the preparation of α,ω-bis(2,6-dimethylphenol)–poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide) (PPO-2OH) is presented. It is based on the oxidative copolymerization of 2,6-dimethylphenol (DMP) with 2,2′-di(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethylphenyl propane) (TMBPA) in a mixture of water–methanol or chlorobenzene–methanol. By using a 4/1 mole ratio of DMP to TMBPA and different solvent mixtures, it was possible to obtain bifunctional PPO-2OHs with number average molecular weights between 1000 and 5000. A phase-transfer-catalyzed etherification of PPO-2OH chain ends with a mixture of m- and p-chloromethylstyrene was used to synthesize α,ω-bis(vinylbenzyl)-poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide)s (PPO-2VBs). The thermal polymerization of the PPO-2VBs was studied by differential scanning calorimetry, and has demonstrated a very high thermal reactivity for this new class of reactive oligomers.  相似文献

The frequencies and forms of the in-plane normal vibrations of the “enol” forms of barbituric and 5-chloro- and 2-thiobarbituric acids and their deutero derivatives were calculated for the Cs symmetry point group. On the basis of an analysis of the forms of the normal vibrations, the principal frequencies observed in the IR spectra of 5-substituted (methyl, chloro, and bromo) and 2-thiobarbituric acids were assigned with respect to the types of vibrations. The force constants were also determined. The results of the calculations also confirm and refine the previously proposed interpretation of the IR spectra of crystalline samples of the investigated compounds and make it possible to form a judgment regarding the presence of tautomers in the crystalline state and in solutions from the IR spectra.  相似文献

Electronic absorption and emission properties of a series of Schiff bases derived from 2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde and 2-aminopyridine, 2,3-diaminopyridine, 2,6-diaminopyridine, or 3-aminomethylpyridine were studied in solvents of different polarities. The interconversion of the enolimine to the ketoamine tautomeric form was observed for compound 1, 6-methoxy-2-(3-pyridylmethyliminomethyl)phenol, and the corresponding equilibrium constant was estimated in several solvents. Protonation constants of all the investigated compounds were determined spectrophotometrically in the methanol/water 1/4 system. The effect of copper(II) ions on absorption and on the emission spectra of these ligands was examined in the buffered dioxane/water 1/1 system (pH 5.8). Strong complexation of Cu(II) and formation of a 1:1 complex were observed for the bis-Schiff base derived from 2,3-diaminopyridine. The complex of copper(II) with compound 1 was isolated and characterized by elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibility measurement, UV-vis and IR spectrometry.  相似文献
