A multi-band monopole antenna with wideband characteristic is proposed for DVB-H/DCS1800/PCS1900/IMT2000/Wibro/WLAN/ S-DMB applications. By using a meander structure and tapered feeding line, wideband characteristic can be achieved. The proposed antenna has an omnidirectional radiation pattern and yields greater than -4 dBi of antenna gain at the DVB-H band and 3 dBi for high- band, respectively.  相似文献

A novel planar meander sleeve monopole antenna for digital video broadcasting-hand held (DVB-H) and GSM mobile handsets is presented. By using the planar sleeve monopole type radiating element constructed with meander strips, the antenna provides a degree of miniaturisation while retaining a wide bandwidth covering the DVB-H and GSM-900 bands. A prototype is constructed and tested, which shows that an impedance bandwidth of 498 MHz (463-961 MHz) within 2.5:1 VSWR is achieved.  相似文献

A compact varactor-tuned meander line monopole antenna for DVB-H signal reception is presented. The operating frequency of the antenna is continuously tuned over the frequency range of the DVB-H standard 470-702 MHz. The antenna has an omnidirectional radiation pattern and covers the frequency range with requisite impedance bandwidth and gain level. The antenna element occupies a very small volume (0.7 cm3 ) and can be used in 40 x 100 x 10 mm devices.  相似文献

A modified earpiece cord is proposed and evaluated as a wideband antenna for DVB-H reception. By winding the cord into a high-impedance RF choke at one-quarter wavelength distance from the handset connection, a stable wideband input impedance is achieved. Using two-chip components for impedance matching, the complete UHF band can be covered with >35% antenna efficiency. Measured and simulated results are presented with good agreement.  相似文献

A novel low profile wideband antenna for digital video broadcastinghandheld (DVB-H) indoor applications is presented. The antenna can operate in two modes (circular patch antenna mode and microstrip mode), which leads to down-tilted beams when the antenna is mounted on a wall. An antenna prototype with a height of 46 mm has been constructed and tested. The simulated and measured results show that the antenna has VSWRs less than 2.0:1 and shaped radiation beams in the DVB-H band (470?706 MHz).  相似文献

The traditional Sierpinski gasket monopole antenna is well known for its multiband behavior, but it cannot be printed on the circuit board of a portable wireless device due to the limited space availability. In this paper a modified Sierpinski gasket monopole antenna is presented that possesses a small physical size, high efficiency and the ability to allocate both the 2.4 and 5.2 GHz Industrial Scientific and Medical bands without the need of a matching network. The modified element respects the multiband behavior of the gasket since the input impedance characteristics of the upper bands maintain their symmetry. Several modification techniques are proposed making the monopole very flexible in terms of band allocation and fine-tuning. The dimensions of the ground plane are also proven to play a significant role on the operational bandwidth of the antenna system.  相似文献

A novel and compact ultra-wideband (UWB) microstrip-fed monopole antenna having frequency band notch function is presented. To increase the impedance bandwidth of an antenna, a narrow slit is used. By inserting a modified inverted U-slot on the proposed antenna, the frequency band notch characteristic is obtained. The designed antenna satisfies the voltage standing wave ratio requirement of less than 2.0 in the frequency band between 3 and 11 GHz while showing the band rejection performance in the frequency band of 5.0 to 5.9 GHz.  相似文献

The proposed antenna is a small wideband monopole with wideband circular polarization using heterogeneous bidirectional recurrent neural network for both narrow and wide band applications (NWB-MAD-HBRNN). The electromagnetic structure is designed, fabricated, and simulated with 1 mm thickness on FR4 substrate material along dielectric constant 4.3. The proposed antenna includes 4.3–8.85 GHz for ultrawideband applications; it contains reconfigurable narrow band for L-band 1.27 GHz, LTE, and ultrawideband applications. To enhance the antenna impedance bandwidth (BW) along axial ratio bandwidth (ARBW), a slit is etched at the antenna patch, a rectangular stub is inserted into the ground plane, and semicircular stub is added to the top of antenna feed line. The better agreement is observed in the measured and simulated gain performance of 4.8 dB for LTE band applications. The proposed NWB-MAD-HBRNN design provides 13.50%, 18.91%, and 22.58% higher bandwidth and 18.36%, 20.38%, and 27.58% lower return loss than the existing designs, such as bio-inspired wideband antenna for wireless applications based on perturbation technique (BWA-WA-PA), a compact circularly polarized modified printed monopole antenna for wireless applications (CCP-MPMA-WA), and new multiband monopole antenna for certain broadband wireless applications along wireless personal communications (PA-MMA-BWA), respectively.  相似文献

A monopole antenna having desirable transmission characteristics with high gain is proposed. The monopole antenna comprises 45° tilted square shaped patch and modified rectangular metallic ground plane on FR4 dielectric substrate. The proposed monopole antenna operates from 2.6 GHz to 9.7 GHz with maximum peak gain of 2.3 dBi. Now, a dual-layer aperture-type FSS is designed having a passband from 5.9 GHz to 9.2 GHz and incorporated with the proposed monopole antenna. Thus, the combination only covers the selective frequency band from 5.5 GHz to 8.7 GHz with a stable gain of around 5 dBi. Second, another FSS is designed, which has one stop-band from 4.1 GHz to 5.4 GHz and two passbands on the both sides of this stop-band. This combination does not work from 4.1 GHz to 5.5 GHz but covers dual band from 2.48 GHz to 3.3 GHz with a peak gain of 5 dBi and 5.5 GHz to 10 GHz with a peak gain of 5.5 dBi. Therefore, without modifying the antenna design, any tunable transmission band can be achieved by the proposed combination. The proposed antenna and FSS combination structure may be suitable for military wireless applications for its band selection characteristics.  相似文献

A modified fork-shaped microstrip monopole antenna with the ground plane including a dual-triangle portion is studied experimentally to obtain a large bandwidth and a multi-band characteristic. In this case, the ground plane including a dual-triangle portion leads to improving the impedance matching for a lower band. Although the use of a high relative permittivity (/spl epsiv//sub r/=4.3) substrate usually restricts the operation bandwidth, the radiation resistance also was a low value. The 2.0 VSWR impedance bandwidth is 29.8% (731-987 MHz) for a lower band, and 90.2% (1498-3080 MHz) for a higher band operation. This single-layer microstrip monopole antenna also retains a low and a thin profile characteristic.  相似文献

An integrated design of compact filtering antenna having high selectivity and suppressed unwanted harmonics is proposed in this paper. The proposed filtering antenna is obtained by integrating a modified elliptic-shaped monopole antenna with a modified interdigital bandpass filter (IBPF). At first, a modified elliptic-shaped monopole antenna is designed and investigated through numerical simulation and experimentally. Further, the modified IBPF reported in the literature is integrated with the proposed monopole antenna to achieve good passband selectivity and suppressed unwanted harmonics for the proposed filtering antenna. The proposed filtering antenna is analysed through numerical simulation software. The simulated −10 dB reflection coefficient bandwidth of the proposed filtering antenna covers the frequency range 1.01–1.96 GHz with improved band-edge selectivity and unwanted harmonic suppression up to 8 GHz (= 5.4 f0, where f0 is the centre frequency of passband). It has nearly stable omnidirectional radiation patterns over the whole frequency band. The proposed filtering antenna was fabricated and experimentally tested. The experimental results are nearly in agreement with corresponding numerical simulation results. The proposed filtering antenna can be a suitable candidate for various L-band wireless communication applications.  相似文献

提出了一种新型的用于WLAN/WiMAX通信系统的双频带印刷单极天线。通过改进的叉子形的辐射贴片,使天线在2.4 GHz频带内谐振。同时,在介质基板背面的引入寄生辐射贴片,利用与正面的辐射贴片的耦合效应,使天线谐振在5 GHz频带内。最终使得天线可以覆盖2.4/5.2/5.8 GHz WLAN 和5.5 GHz WiMAX频带。对加工后的天线模型测试表明,天线在工作频带内具有较好的全向辐射特性和可观的增益。因此,该天线在无线多频带通信系统中具有广泛的应用前景。  相似文献

Circular monopole antenna for ultra-wide band applications with notch band transition from WLAN to WiMAX is presented. The proposed antenna rejects WiMAX band (3.3–3.8 GHz). Antennas utilises modified mushroom-type electromagnetic band gap (EBG) structures to achieve band-notched designs. The proposed inductance enhanced modified EBG structures are 34 % compact than the conventional mushroom EBG structures. The band notched antenna designs using EBG structures have advantages like notch-frequency tuning, antenna design independent approach and omnidirectional radiation pattern. The step wise effect of inductance enhancement and tuning of notch from WLAN band (5–6 GHz) to WiMAX band is shown. Effect of variation of EBG structure parameters on which notched frequency depends is investigated. The proposed antenna has been fabricated on low cost FR4 substrate with overall dimensions as (42 × 50 × 1.6) mm3. Measured results are in good agreement with simulated ones.  相似文献

为了解决车载通信天线工作频带窄、尺寸大等缺点,文中提出了一款应用于车载鲨鱼鳍外壳的新型小型化、宽带MIMO天线。为了实现天线的宽带特性,充分利用了印制单极子天线易于引入多谐振的特点,首先通过合理的尺寸设计,将单极子天线谐振频率设计至工作频段中;然后,使用缝隙加载技术,增加天线谐振模式数量并改善天线阻抗匹配特性,拓宽了天线带宽并实现了天线的小型化。为了验证天线实际性能,将天线安装于鲨鱼鳍外壳中进行了测试。结果表明,该天线可以覆盖824~5 000 MHz的频段范围,驻波比均小于3,增益最低1.9 d Bi、最高6.2 d B,效率均高于49.5%、最高达89.2%。该天线可满足车载通信系统对天线的宽带化和小型化要求。  相似文献

采用传统的固相反应法制得了一种低损耗的Z型铁氧体材料(Sr1Ba2-xBixCo2+xFe24O41,其中x=0,0.15),基于此材料设计得到一近似全方向辐射模式,在470~702MHz频段平均增益大于-3dB,且在此频段的辐射效率为33.5%~67.3%的小型化天线,该天线完全满足DVB-H(数字视频广播手持终端传输技术)的应用。  相似文献

设计了一种三频段L型单极子平面天线,通过3个L型单极子天线的组合,使其中一个单极子天线工作于3.5 GHz频段,较长一个单极子工作于2.4 GHz频段,较短一个单极子工作于5.8 GHz频段,该天线与其他三频段平面天线相比,结构更为简单。为数值分析和优化,在HFSS建立了该天线的电磁仿真模型,仿真结果表明,该三频段天线在其3个工作频段内的回波损耗都<-10 dB,实现了2.4 GHz,3.5 GHz和5.8 GHz 三频段同时工作。该天线可在WLAN和WiMAX通信系统中得到良好的应用。  相似文献

提出了一种新型超宽带平面单极子天线。该天线由一个倒置的月牙形金属贴片和一个槽口金属接地板构成,采用微带线对其进行馈电。通过数值仿真和实验测量,该平面结构的单极天线具有超宽带性能,实测天线的-10dB回波损耗的频率覆盖范围为3.2~1.8GHz,相对带宽达115%,阻抗带宽达到3.6倍频。且该天线体积小、结构简单、加工简便,适合应用于短程超宽带通信系统。  相似文献
