| 摘 要： | 本文介绍应用 VAX DBMS 数据库管理系统建立的中国地震目录数据库(简称 ECDC).收集入库的地震目录数据比较齐全,精确性较高,具有一定的科学价值.数据库的结构包括模式、存储模式和三个子模式,其中定义了两个记录,五个系和六个存储域.为数据库设计了交互用户接口系统.这个系统具有较强的功能,一般用户通过它可以方便地访问数据库,获取数据或对数据进行操纵.某些专业用户还可以通过 VAX DBMS 的查询工具 DBQ 或直接嵌入高级程序设计语言中的数据操纵语言 DML 访问数据库.

| Abstract: | This article introduces the earthquake catalogue database of China which uses a VAX-780 computer and DBMS data base system and is called ECDC for short.The structure of the ECDC contains the schema, storage-schema and three subschemas and which defines two records, five sets and six stored realms.We designed an interface system for the user. This system has stronger ability, by which the common user can call conveniently on the database, and retrieve data or manipulate the data.Some special users can alse access the databasa by DBQ that is the query tool of VAX DBMS or use directly the DML (Data Manipulation Language) that can be inlaid in high level programming Languages. |
