锂电池电极狭缝挤压涂布内外流场分析

摘    要:为全面揭示锂电池电极狭缝挤压涂布过程中各参数变化对涂层质量的影响规律,采用数值模拟方法对锂电池电极狭缝挤压涂布的内、外流场进行了仿真分析。引入均匀性评价指标,在内流场中研究了浆料参数、结构参数和工艺参数对涂层均匀性的影响;在外流场中研究了涂层缺陷的成因,并进行了实验验证。结果表明,实验与仿真结果高度一致。较小的狭缝厚度、较大的入口角度和较小的浆料入口速度对涂层均匀性有利;增大浆料入口流速可对空气渗入和涂层过薄缺陷进行改善,涂层过厚缺陷主要由箔材运动速度小于浆料入口流速造成,湿涂层的厚度会随着涂布间隙的减小而增大。

Abstract:In order to comprehensively reveal the influence of various parameter changes on the coating quality during the extrusion coating process of lithium battery electrode slits,numerical simulation methods were used to simulate and analyze the internal and external flow fields in slot coating of lithium battery electrodes.The influence of slurry parameters,structure parameters and process parameters on coating uniformity was studied in the internal flow field by introducing uniformity evaluation index.The causes of coating defects were studied in the external flow field and experimentally verified.The results show that the experiment and simulation have a high degree of consistency.Smaller slit thickness,larger inlet angle and smaller slurry inlet velocity are beneficial to coating uniformity.The air penetration and coating thinning defects can be improved by increasing the slurry inlet velocity.The coating thickness defects are mainly caused by the moving velocity of the foil is lower than the slurry inlet velocity,the thickness of wet coating increases with the decrease of coating gap.
