2008年5月东北冷涡异常活动特征

摘要: 利用美国NCEP/NCAR的再分析资料和中国辽宁地区逐日降水资料,对2008年5月东北冷涡异常活动进行分析。结果表明:2008年5月东北冷涡活动较比历年明显偏多;500 hPa月平均高度场在50°—180°E范围内为典型的“Ω”阻塞高压环流形势,乌拉尔山与贝加尔湖之间的高压脊明显偏强;高度脊加强或维持时,在高度脊后西南方有暖平流输送,高度脊减弱阶段,在高度脊后西北方向有强冷平流输送;东北冷涡频繁活动时,贝加尔湖到中国东北地区高度场表现为强负距平,副热带高压与东北冷涡的位置密切相关,中国大陆东部副热带高压较比历年弱且位置偏东时,出现中涡的几率增大。

Abstract: Based on the data from NCEP/NCAR and daily precipitation in Liaoning province, the anomaly characteristics of northeast cold vortex in May of 2008 were discussed. The result shows that activities of northeast cold vortex in May of 2008 are more than that in other years. There are two ridges and one trough in 500 hPa (50°—180°E) monthly mean height field. Ridge between Ural mountain and Baikal Lake is stronger. Warm advection is conveyed from southwestern of height ridge rear when height ridge strengthens or remains, while cold advection is conveyed from northwestern when height ridge weakens. When northeast cold vortex becomes active, the height field is negative anomaly from Baikal Lake to Northeast China. The subtropical high is close to the position of northeast cold vortex, and the middle vortex occurs frequently if subtropical high is weak and its position leans to east.
