Abstract:The study on self-diverting acid of betaine amphoteric surfactants is carried out, which is based on the problems of large thickness, serious anisotropy and high water-cut after acidification of carbonate reservoir with high-temperature and high-salt. The four kinds of surfactants with different molecular structures, including CBET-18, CBETXN-18, CBETXN-22S, CBETXN-22J, were synthesized in laboratory. Evaluation shows that CBET-18 has the strongest thickening ability to residual acid, and CBETXN-18 has the weakest thickening ability to residual acid, but CBET-18 and CBETXN–22S require higher melting temperature in 15% hydrochloric acid. The adsorption of betaine surfactant on the surface of carbonate rocks can lead to wettability alteration, and only using saline can resume the wettability of the surface of the rock, so it won"t impact on production after acidification. Physical simulation experiment results indicate that, due to self-steering acid has a better performance for the parallel cores when the radio of their permeability is within 5, it ensures to acidize low permeability core.
